There's a song about that called Bloodrocuted by Dethklok lmao They're getting closer But now you have a plan Lead them to the generator Where there's solid land The concrete floor will do just fine And electric outlets Open up your veins and splash the blood And hit the power lines Bloodrocuted!
All the fields on the ground remind me of fights in the Divinity: Original Sin series. So much chaos can erupt from a single ability if I didn't consider all the fields nearby.
One thing not mentioned in the video is that many classes have abilities that push enemies, objects, and even corpses and pushing corpses (or other enemies) into enemies will deal a small amount of damage.
The dev's other work, Horizon's Gate, is another fantastic title. iirc the corpse mechanic wasn't in that one, but the game cared a whole lot about environments and the way you used your abilities. They've made fantastic strides in the tactics space
It would be more accurate if you title this video "on top of your friend's corpses". "Fighting over" insinuates that you're competing for corpses as a resource...which would be vastly more interesting.
I'm not sure if you have the ability to drag dead bodies around, but that element alone would make bodies never disappearing a strategic choice and could lead to more deep gameplay if done weirdly right.
That was my first thought. Can't work out what's going on, everything meshing into one another. Looks like they had no clue that to make pixel art you actually need to make the characters stand out from the background.
The spilled blood of dead allies and enemies conducting electricity is an incredible tactical consideration
Completely agree. I thought it was so cool, and made me wonder what other things you could do with blood in games.

This is my first Bytesized, finally! Thanks for editing KC!
Hope you all enjoy, because there will be more lol
I did enjoy and am looking forward to more.😁
Looking forward to more!
Nice to have your reviews again!
It was good! I look forward to more.
Well done! Thoroughly enjoyable :)
I am not gonna lie "Not on the carpet please" got me. 🤣
Sounds like right up my alley, I'll add it to the wishlist and my maybe play it in 10 years
How dare you remind me of my own toxic Wishlist habits.... lol
it's on sale for 15 bucks rn (why i'm watching this video)
Congrats Elise on the great increase in voice over quality! Sounds amazing.
been following the work of Rad Codex since Alvora Tactics and i'm so glad to see their work getting this kinda coverage. love this!

I love it when the combat influences the battlefield.
Cool to see some attention for this dev. Voidspire was great and they've been delivering since.
I've never heard of this game before but I think you just sold it to me.
This sounds a fun tactics game, one I'm slightly annoyed in myself that i have so much difficulty parsing the visuals
One thing not mentioned in the video is that many classes have abilities that push enemies, objects, and even corpses and pushing corpses (or other enemies) into enemies will deal a small amount of damage.
This game sounds like a nightmare.
But i love how inventive it seems to be. Cant say I'll try it but it sounds very cool

This was such a great video, thanks for your hard work!!
I would have appreciated if you mentioned if there even is a plot.
The music has shades of Shining Force II
Strategy around bodies on the battlefield makes for an interesting idea, gotta look more into this game
Is this the game where we can finally hide behind the wall of dead bards?
Let the bodies hit the floor
And stay there
what interesting mechanics this game has!
While I'm not really a fan of tactics games, this gimic sounds interesting enough to look into further. Keep up the great work y'all!
They could add a mode where the bodies don't go away.
Elise in Second Wind! Yay!
I thought "fighting over" meant "trying to take for yourself" not "working around".
Good video, but what's happening to the reviews(3MR)? I thought Bytesized was gonna be the replacement.

The nerve of you to make a video about this and not so much as even make a Drowning Pool reference. It was right there!!
Oh this is from the same devs as Horizon's Gate. Loved that game

So is the evolution of the FF Tactics Advance mechanic?
Looks like fun. Love me some SRPGs with a twist.
Nice

It seems to me that these types of games are pretty much dead. No pun intended.
asdf
sadly the game looks like a blur of pixels, terrible art direction, can't see shit
