Thank you for this. I have been wondering about the day of wedding timeline. We are having an intimate ceremony and reception in the same venue, a winery. We’re not having a bridal party other than our children but will have a cocktail hour and dinner reception. I appreciate your help.
Why are there guests arriving in the evening? Outside of the UK but it sounds like 2 receptions are being held? Was this second wave of guests not invited to the ceremony? This is very interesting lol
In the Uk some couples choose to invite guests just to evening reception. So after the meal. These guests are not invited to the ceremony or wedding breakfast and aren’t usually family or close circle friends. If the couple has a tight budget, this usually means they can still celebrate with their friends without the costs of the wedding breakfast meal for a larger guest count xx
So helpful. 🥰 Why does bride and groom need to meet registrar? How do we do this without groom seeing bride? Does the registrar just pop over to the car when bride pulls up? This is giving me anxiety 😂😂😂❤️❤️
If it’s a church wedding that doesn’t happen. If it’s a civil ceremony you’ll each be taken into a room to meet the registrar separately. You won’t see each other 😉😘. They venue will direct you on how to book your registrar and which council it is. Xx
Hi , you can arrange the bridegroom to go in 15 minutes to meet the registrar and they then direct him to room , then assistant will collect you to meet the registrar
