I work for Jewel, and it’s a great company to work for. I have been with the company for almost 10 years. The people I work with are very friendly and helpful to one another, and the customers. The benefits are also very good. Health coverage with Jewel is absolutely phenomenal. You also get a 401k plan, paid time off, and an associate discount. All I have to say is if you’re looking for your first job, or want to make some extra money, work for Jewel Osco
LOL😂 It is one of the lowest paying employers in the state of Illinois 12 to 13 per hour in 2022 / 2023 is a disgusting joke considering all the draining labor and customers you deal with every single moment. Unless you are a child who gets to play on your phone all day at work, it isn't an easy job. NO health benefits unless you jump through hoops and get the exact amount of "full time" hours No 401K until you work there at least 1 year.
I live on the east coast. Always interesting to learn about Chicago stuff. I visited Jewel Osco for the first time last week during my vacation to Chicago.
Lol. I used to shop at jewel a lot but have switched to Marianos and Butera. Both of those are cheaper. But each store has their advantages. Jewel is open till midnight which other competitors arent. In some instances i prefer Whole Foods to Jewel. Way nicer and just a bit more exp.
I moved from Chicago and miss stores being open late as most stores here in the town I'm in close by 8, 9, or 10 and Walmart at 11. After the pandemic are stores there really closing at midnight?
So now that Brandon has shut down the pipeline ( it’s not Russia fault…. We’re buying oil from Russia folks) ALL prices have gone up, also Chicago taxes on food is more then in Indiana! Love Jewel!!!!
Jewel needs to make a video for customers informing them on how to NOT be obnoxious, lazy, incompetent slobs. Put items back on the shelf in the proper place! Stop opening items! Stop complaining about low stock on the shelves and high prices. YOU contribute to inflation by constantly "damaging" items by not putting them away. We have to throw out so much stock due to those reasons. So enjoy your high costs. Enjoy your deli meats and bakery food that we drop on the floor when you are not looking and then sell to you out of spite😂🤣
