Your video helped me so much! I watched, paused & was able to replicate ! Thank you so much! I look forward to more videos!
Beautiful car and great video. Came out nice!
I actually have a 2020 LT1. Looking to get a spoiler and I like this one the most. Thanks for sharing.
looks badass! just ordered one!
Looks great! Love it! Next mod for my SS for sure.
I’m so happy there is another 6Th gen SS owner that owns a 3rd gen bird! I thought I was the only one! Love the red on yours! Mine is Arctic White. I’ll post a video on them soon on my channel.
Great video! Installing the same spoiler on mine soon! Subbed and notifications turned on!
The Camaro I bought last had this already installed in matte black and the center spoiler piece was poorly installed by whoever did it. It’s been hanging on for a year, just haven’t had the time to take it off to fix it. Didn’t even know what brand the spoiler was until recently and this video is a life saver. Gonna order some tape and hope for a non cold weekend soon and fix the shoddy job.
Going to put it in my 2019 SS. Looks so much better than the stock wing.
Looks good, but I mounted my blade spoiler on to the existing spoiler. Got the idea, after installing the wicker spoiler on my Challenger. The wicker install required that you mount directly on the existing spoiler. I must say after mounting the blade on my Camaro' existing SS spoiler it gave the car a unique and awesome look. Thanks, for sharing your install.
Excellent write-up my man, you covered everything and made the install look simple. I'm about to try this on my black '16 SS soon and want to thank you for this because everywhere I see this thing sold it always says does not include instructions and should be installed by a pro only.
Thank you! And yes it only comes with this video. We recommend professional installation for people who don't have any experience, but as long as you watch the video you will be alright.
Let me know what you guys think! Skip to 7:00 for the installation and 12:11 to see it finished!
Next-Gen Speed hello I’m looking for this same blade spoiler as well as the blade wickerbill that zl1addons have for a 2016 Camaro LT. Can you send me a link to those items.
That spoiler was much needed
Excellent job. Turned out looking good. I'm doing the same on my 2017 SS. Once on, then I'm installing a Wicker Bill from ZL1 Add-ons.
Hey did the 3m tape hold up good? I wanna install this spoiler but I’m kinda sketched out by using just 3m tape
Nice video, tell me does the ILE SS Camaro rear spoiler come in matte black? I'm going to have the hood done on my 2018 in a matte black vinyl wrap. Wasn't the rear blade spoiler also matte black finish in 2018?
I just did this install last week, thanks for the video! So far so good. Any issues with it getting wet at a car wash or going over 80+mph?? I’m worried it won’t stick if air gets under it and could rip off. Haven’t taken it on the freeway yet, but plan on trying this weekend.
Mike Harms This is still installed and we have had no issues👍🏼 The car is washed 1-2 times a week and it has also been taken on the track/drag strip at high speeds
do dealers add bolts or do they do it similar to this?
I purchased a product two different times one using 3M tape that didn’t hold up too long once you go over 100 miles an hour it starts lifting in a little bit by the corner not very much but enough to notice then I use gorilla double-sided tape the next time which I thought was stronger same thing happened so I’m about to try to pop it off again and remove all then adhsieve and rub it down with alcohol just like I did before but I would like to know what is the way that this can be bolted on and now I have to worry about the tape peeling from high heat temperatures in certain states or high speed because the original spoiler on my ZL one has threaded holes already in it? So how do you make bolts work with the spoiler or is it just putting very short screws into it from underneath the trunk??
Nice install vid. A few questions. From what u can tell, is this a replica of the GM Blade Spoiler? Also, how was the fit and finish? Are there any noticeable gaps once installed? How was the paint finish? Thanks.
Yes it's a Replica and the fit was perfect and it came in the same type of Gloss Black as the car. There are no gaps or anything, you just have to lay it down and install it right. This one is also made to cover the stock SS spoiler holes.
I Noticed On Instagram That You Changed Your Spoiler, Did You Have Issues With This One?
Wow! I wish you are close so that we can just swap trunks. I got 22 2SS 1 Le and I like the high wing better.
Do you have video to show to uninstall the blade?😀
got one one for my 2020 lt1
That's awesome, great video! Where in Michigan are you from? I'm in Mount Pleasant.
Is the i kon 1 LE blade spoiler the the same size as the Gm 1LE blade spoiler, , I seen another video where the two middle holes , one hole was exposed, your blade covers both the center holes, I have the GM 1 LE blade now and scared it might come out like yours! Excellent job you done...
Thank you! The Ikon is different than OEM, as OEM will not cover all holes for the LT/RS/SS/ZL1 models.. This one is made to extend and cover all holes
Are you guys getting more
That spoiler is nice for that Camaro where did you purchase it at looking to get a ZL1 Camaro excellent video 👍📸
nice i just got mine in did u only use 3m double sided tape i have a 2018 2.0 camaro LT but dont know if i should drill holes or just use 3m tape
Sweet Trans Am
I like that spoiler looks better,
How come you did not choose carbon fiber spoiler over just the regular black spoiler?
The Carbon Fiber ones cost a lott more and I'm also going with a gloss black/blue color scheme. If I got a Carbon Fiber spoiler, then I would want the rest of the black pieces to be Carbon Fiber also
Can I get a link for this product please
Do you have a picture or video showing the holes on the top side of the trunk? And how noticeable they are?
Hey bro I saw you didn’t use the paste it came with the spoiler. I just got mine with no tape, should I apply the paste only or buy the 3M tape to put as well?
You will need 3M tape for it but I also recommend using the paste. It will help with the install and adhesion.
Hey I’m thinking to buy the same spoiler ! I have a convertible ss 2017 !!Will fit ?!
Do you know if the stock deck lid spoiler on the 2021 camaro is glued on or bolted ?
SS/ZL1 models are bolted. LT/RS and some LT1 models use tape/plastic clips
Is there any way to install it by bolting it on? Does it have to be double sided tape? I want to order it but want to add a wickerbill and I need it to hold up
We do have many customers who have added the wickerbill to this without any issues, but bolts can also be added.
how about the holes from the OEM spoiler, has water come in yet?
Sundeep Bhogal No it has been good. Silicone was added under the holes and it has been sealed up ever since without any issues
to everyone curious or worried if this will ever fall off since its not bolted down Let me be your peace of mind. as long as its done right with good 3M tape it wont. I swapped from this spoiler to a ZL1 and I had an absolute bitch of a time getting this thing off.
I got mine installed by my local Chevy and idk what kind of tape they used.. it’s already peeling after 2 days lmao and I have a 2.0Camaro RS so definitely some sort of tape problem. Might have to do it myself
Any issues with yours?
I've had mine on for almost 2 months with no issues. Grab some 3M Automotive Mounting tape from your local auto parts store and try it out yourself and you shouldn't have any issues.
late on this video lmaoo but helped me put mine on !
Does the spoiler still hold up after all this time with just the tape?
Where do you put the adhesive added with the spoiler??
Ever Urey We used 3M High Strength Automotive Tape for ours instead, but the Adhesive provided with the spoiler can be used also. It needs to be applied with a brush across the entire surface.
Did your ordered spoiler come with tape like mine did? I am thinking of not using the provided tape and instead going to get some good 3M tape.
I have this spoiler and have tried multiple adhesive tapes. It never stays on... constantly begins to lift. I want to install a wicker bill but don't trust my spoiler will stay on to attempt that. Is there anything better than tape to better support? Also, had my vehicle wrapped and even after the installers re-applied it I'm still running in to this issue.
Will more than likely find one with bolts because this is becoming a headache lol
Hello! I am sorry you are experiencing issues. The spoiler can still be bolted/screwed down, and they can be added in the original spot where the bolts were. Just make sure they aren’t too long🙂
@@NextGenSpeed
How can this spoiler be bolted down, the Originals has threaded holes already made into it.
I had the same issue using gorilla double stick tape instead of 3M already been through two of them and still get a small lift up on each corner in the front and I already use and he’s of tape as much as you can put underneath it how do you recommend using boats are you talking about using screws with washes in screw it into the bottom of the smaller but not going up to high with really short screws??
Have you had any problems at all with it? Like it’s not peeling off after a wash?
No not at all, once it's on there it's not coming off unless you use a crazy amount of force. You can pull up on it hard and it won't budge and i've also hit 130mph+ with no issues.
Way bester!
Where’s did you get the caps for the hole
For the spoiler? I used silicone to seal them up from the inside once it was installed.
These spoilers are always SOLD OUT
How fast is the shipping I ordered mine and still nothing 😫
These just came back in stock this week and take about 1-3 days to ship depending if it needs to be painted gloss black
On your website it says this spoiler is out of stock. Will it be back in stock ? I have a 2016 SS and all other spoilers I’ve seen don’t cover up the holes.
@@NextGenSpeed I just checked your website and it still says out of stock. Do you know when it will be back in stock?
I was wondering if it would cover the holes or not. I’m surprised it doesn’t use bolts at all
Yes this is the only blade spoiler that covers all holes, made specifically for that. Bolts are not needed but can be added into the old holes, just make sure they are small and do not poke through the surface.
where are you here in michigan i have a 2016 convertible and thinking about changing my spoiler. have you seen a convertible with the changed spoiler yet?
Next-Gen Speed ok let me know when I can catch up with you. I want to see the blade in person. I ordered and received it. I’ll then decide if I want to paint it or leave the way it is.
have u had any issues with it lifting from either end of the middle piece
I have not. If you experience this, I recommend reinstalling the 3M tape and making sure the surface is entirely cleaned with alcohol
i did but no luck i just went ahead and bought another one style spoiler
mine was on for over a year before it started to lift so idk maybe it warped with this hear who know
I put mine on and it keeps popping off on one side of the trunk. How do I fix this?
Use a lot of double sided tape and make sure it is high strength automotive tape
I ordered an ACS rear deck spoiler from next gen speed for my 2019 Camaro. And I have not gotten any sort of update or whatsoever. Please help me.
Norbert Canete Jr. I ordered one too it takes a lil longer than normal but it came
alpo0201 thank you for your reply. I got mine. And yes it took much longer than it normally does. But still, they need to upgrade their customer service .
would it be safe to add a wicker bill knowing the only thing holding it is 3M tape
What about the LT one with no spoiler and no screw holes what do we do
@@NextGenSpeed Do you think it would hold on just fine without the screws?
Does this work for 2016 Camaro Lt1
Next-Gen Speed and since I don’t have a spoiler, no drilling needed correct? Thanks for ur help btw.
Hey bro so the blade spoiler doesn't use any bolts?
Next-Gen Speed my car came stock with the blade spoiler and I want to remove it and add the 1LE Zl1 big wing. But I was worried that the holes won't match up with the wing
Jesus nice trans am.
Wait... this does'nt bolt on? Is this the OEM part?
This is the aftermarket style to cover all holes an does not require bolts, but they can be added as well.
Track tested up to 170+ mph for 2 years no problem
Where did you buy this?
Next-Gen Speed a question that blade you buy on c7 carbon Or what line? How much to you?
Mine peeled off and I reinstalled it with some new 3M tape, and it then again is peeling off, what is the right way?
Agustin Velasquez You have to clean the surface completely with a claybar/iso alocohol, and then you need to get some high strength 3M tape to the spoiler, and then apply the liquid adhesive provided in the box to the area where you are installing. Once it is on you will then need to apply pressure for a few minutes. We’ve had this installed on our shop car for almost a year with no peeling or issues, and have also been to the track and drag strip with it.
Overprice items I’ll stick to eBay

The GM blade spoiler actually bolts to the car. GM Part # (84016429)
Yes correct, but will not cover the holes from the OEM SS Stanchion Spoiler
me: a ratchet?
Next-Gen Speed: No, a rat shit
Defrosting a steak lol
