On some of the aircraft, like the A330s, there is a refuelling pod on the outboard section of the wing with a Ram Air Turbine (RAT) spinning on it. This is for air-to-air refuelling and contains the drogue which looks a bit like a huge shuttlecock. The KC-135 has them too but without the RAT 👍
Well that'll be handy. If the yanks retire the Osprey I can use one as a water butt down the garden, the amount of water the undercarriage holds! Much better looking than a green tub too 😂

The small engines that looks like bombs on some of the aircraft’s. Are they some kind off generators?
