No idea why this channel got recommended at first, now I know YT knows about my guitar rig and thought I should learn this trick :D Thanks for giving me a new experimental weekend with my crybaby pedal!
I had a 50 watt Marshall amp they stopped making. It was notcreliable as it would switch off completely. Yes, no sound at all. Someone told me it had something to do with polarity ?. I really don't know. Anyway, it was that amp that I connected a Crybaby to. There was one particular spot in my room at night that when I partially stepped on the pedal and maintained the pressure evenly, I would hear music from what sounded like Russia sometimes to different places of what sounded like Europe. Some nights, I could hear music that I couldn't zero in on what or where it was coming from. There were times that I stood right there on one foot with the other on the pedal and my Gibson SG hanging from my guitar strap for 2 or more hours listening to this music.
@crisetmoc7182 I live in the state of Maine. But I've had many various kinds of phenom far more exciting. This was enjoyable to listen to nonetheless. My legs were stiff after standing so long in one position just to hear the music that was coming out of my amp.
Back in the seventies I used to get a local taxi firm coming out. I just stared at the amp wondering what the hell was going on whereas I'm sure David Gilmour would have made a classic track out of it.
As a kid when I listened to this, it reminded me of circling pterodactyls on an icy planet.
man that sounded so good like for a second it did not occur to me that you were actively demoing the sound
Thank you

Amazing
Sounds really neat, I’d love for Lantertronics to show us how it works.
Hiya just noticed you are using the echorec delay pedal what ever I do I cannot get it to do what I want any chance you have covered this anywhere??
Oh wow. Do you know how he created that underwater sound as well? I believe he placed two speakers or something on other sides of the recording room
Unbelievable!
Accidents like these don't happen often no more.. Analog tech.
Does it have to be a strat? Would any sss do the same?
I think it can be OK with any single coil.
@@mrmouse-ol9pw I think the kind of guitar is not important. The effect depends from the coil of the mic and the cap of the tone potentiometer
Sounds like banshee
“Yeah, I play guitar”…
Why does your guitar have 22 frets?
Because it s not a real Black Strat, however the loud mic is still in good position for harmonics
Damn gen z kids calling it “whale sounds” nowadays
Ok boomer
Amusement for about 10 minutes max.
does it have to be that exact way pedal?
You can buy the Pink Flow pedal, it has this effect built in….
@@classicraceruk1337 yeah it only cost $800
@@classicraceruk1337 Jam seagull pedal is a good option
@ I have seen that, very expensive
Lol, this is called the seagull sound? To my ears it always sounded like actual humpback whales singing
