This is my favorite Shakespeare speech! I went to a poetry reading in college and read this speech aloud and it felt awesome! I was nervous at first, but by the end felt more confident! I’ve always loved this speech partly due to that and Hiddles reciting it here and in Henry V is fantastic!!

Seeing this makes everything Loki says a lot more real for me. That whole "I'm Loki of Asgard and I'm burdened with glorious purpose." thing sounds a lot more believable coming from Tom. With Chris Hemsworth the old timey language always felt weird.....Maybe it's the accent.

Good, even very good, but not great. Hiddleston's performance lacks the desperation that's a critical element of this scene: Harry knows that he absolutely must take fortified town of Harfleur or his campaign in France will end in ignominious defeat. At this point Harry's small 8000 man army has been besieging the French held town for over a month; the British have suffered heavy losses, exhausted nearly all their supplies, most of their troops are suffering from dysentery, and Harry knows there's a massive 20,000+ man French army approaching to lift the siege. This is, literally, "do or die" time for Harry, and here he's pleading with sick and exhausted men to assault the town's walls one more time in hopes of achieving victory. Hiddleston's version comes across more as a cheery half-time pep talk: "I say, lads, let's win this one for jolly old England, what?" Again, it's not a bad rendition, but it kind of misses the mark.
