Years ago I was driving through the huge Navajo res in Arizona and scanned the AM stations on the radio. I found a station playing native music and was instantly hooked. I love the sound, the complexity and the energy- it's just great! Still listening today. I only wish they could put up the words in English.
Love this song... could someone please tell me what the words are before 'Akisha he auwelo, akicita ohitika, akisha he auwelo' or are they vocables? Thank you :-) (My apologies if I have written any of the words wrong)

I also like the sound of the drum, the only problem is that it can't cross the Atlantic
