#Retire91 #FedorovNotFederov - Спорт
Fedorov was simply one of the most dominant players in the game from his first night on the ice in Detroit. Playing him with Yzerman and later Lidstrom was just unfair to opposing teams. The Russian 5 were a thing of beauty.
He had alrewady played 4 years for CSKA Moscow, which is the Red Army Team, so it was his Rookie year in the NHL, but his 5th year playing NHL Level Hockey. It was hard to pick just one favorite Red Wing during that time, it was truly a "team" and the players fit together so well. My favorite era for NHL hockey.
I loved watching Fedorov. If you watch Datsyuk you will see a lot of Fedorov in his moves
I agree but Datsuk is also a one of a kind creative player
My childhood hero
For the love of god Detroit
Retire his Number #91forever
Oh my God, thank you. Please more.
Gary Thorne uncertain how to pronounce "Fedorov" in his first game. He and the rest of the league learned quickly.
Спасибо NHL за то что нашим парням там так здорово играется!
Don't know where you find these gems but they're awesome.
Thank you for this video package
A lot of hilights of feds career I never got to see b4 ✊
my childhood hero.
Thank you!
5:47; That was Jeff Hackett that Fedorov collided into while scoring that goal. Incredibly, both stayed in the game.
Yup
1:18 omg, Blake, Sundin and Bondra. Thats some serious competition in the Rookie department!
Great videos! Thank you bro!
they were fun to watch the Russian five were ridiculously good every night of the seasons 👍
Kick butt team let's go Red Wings!!!!!! Mr. Federov your missed!!!
Steve Chaisson,Bob Probert rip.
I have that Fedorov highlight video with Keep On Rockin In The Free World on VHS.
I have that Fedorov music video you have bits and pieces of thrown in there on VHS somewhere...lol. Keep On Rockin' In The Free World - Neil Young
I know it was risky to draft Russian players at the time, but to think Federov wasn't drafted until the 74th pick. Pavel Bure was drafted 113th, and Konstantinov was drafted with the 221st pick. The previous year, Alex Mogilny was drafted 89th overall. How many GMs were kicking themselves after this? By 1990 The top Russians were getting drafted earlier.
Do you have a Russian 5 highlight reel?
Luke Richardson is still looking for his jockstrap
Great vid
Also worth nothing: On his first goal, he shot it past one of his childhood idols, old Papa Bear Fetisov.
😯 wow really! Thanks!
Катается он конечно Супер.
Гол на 5.47 очень сильно напомнил великий гол Александра Великого
And the evil Chris Chelios hey buddy All Is Forgiven we love you now
