He had alrewady played 4 years for CSKA Moscow, which is the Red Army Team, so it was his Rookie year in the NHL, but his 5th year playing NHL Level Hockey. It was hard to pick just one favorite Red Wing during that time, it was truly a "team" and the players fit together so well. My favorite era for NHL hockey.
Fedorov was simply one of the most dominant players in the game from his first night on the ice in Detroit. Playing him with Yzerman and later Lidstrom was just unfair to opposing teams. The Russian 5 were a thing of beauty.
I know it was risky to draft Russian players at the time, but to think Federov wasn't drafted until the 74th pick. Pavel Bure was drafted 113th, and Konstantinov was drafted with the 221st pick. The previous year, Alex Mogilny was drafted 89th overall. How many GMs were kicking themselves after this? By 1990 The top Russians were getting drafted earlier.

5:47; That was Jeff Hackett that Fedorov collided into while scoring that goal. Incredibly, both stayed in the game.

Гол на 5.47 очень сильно напомнил великий гол Александра Великого

Уровень хоккей просто пещерный, сейчас так дети играют.
Дима дурак ты. Клюшку от шайбы научись отличать.
