All I really care for at this point is normal prestige mode and pick 10. Pick 10 allowed for a good enough variety of customisation and was just a formula that worked, needs to come back. Get gunsmith tf out, shit is too convoluted for a 6 v 6 respawn mode, have that shit in warzone, not MP. Also prestige mode was like the soul of Cod, a number and an icon held so much achievement it was the main grind for Cod, mastery camo was the icing on top where as camo grinding is all we have now. Just loved the system of getting to level 55, hitting reset and doing it again 10 times, 1000 on top of that in later games, and being optional made it even better. Don't prestige at all or prestige a few times, Cod just had so much variety before.
I wish guns that returned in the newer titles had a type of aftermarket park to change the iron sights or certain items on the guns from their original introduction
On the new mw3 2024 I still don’t get the purpose of prestige’s. I don’t even know what prestige I’m on. I’m level 830 something. I don’t know what I gain from levelling up. It’s quite anticlimactic
It’s a shame call of duty is pretty much a copy and paste every year with only 1 or 2 new features. The old features which your video highlights were perfect to games they were in and would have been perfect used in future cod’s. Unfortunately the casual aspect of cod has moved on with SBM, disbanding lobbies, gun smith and the new seasonal prestige to name a few... There is very few features in terms of grinding (unless you enjoy pointless camo’s) that makes you addicted to the games and keeps you coming back. The big one for me is disbanding lobbies. I remember back in the day playing in the same lobby for hours and hours, with pretty much the same 12 players, you got used to the players in the lobby and adapted to their play styles, it made you figure the other team out, and next game you were hoping that the good players ended up on your time, if not you new there would be a tougher game on your hands… this built friendships within those lobby’s… great video, well done 🙌
You've got it wrong,the gunsmith allows creating new fun and cool weapons without making them boring ,you can get very creative and even make irl guns something the pick 10 doesn't allow,with the pick 10 guns become stale really quick
@Stuntship24 I agree even some attachments not sure if its in mw3 but in mw2 some attachments were either useless or made weapon worse besides why spend 10 mins thinking what attachments to use when pick 10 is simple and more balanced! People think that unbalanced means FUN which I disagree massively

I could run a stock MSMC with no attachments and still do just as good as if I was using a grip and long barrel. Couldn't do that on the gunsmith, especially with a sniper, shit is so fuckin slow with no attachments. gunsmith is ass.
Honorable mention: actual good creative streaks. I’m tired of seeing the exact same streaks from 2019-onward, except now they just suck and get shot down in an instant. I do hope Treyarch cooks with their streak selections like in Bo2, 3, and 4

Also it excluded the proficiencies Impact, Breath, Damage, and 2 Attachments, however it gave you all of the other proficiencies on any gun, even if a certain one isn't normally an option on a gun (such as Range or Speed on assault rifles).
Bring back pro perks and specialist kill streak package from mw3 and If they want to keep sbmm, at least they should make a rank mode to play against players at your level and have a casual/ unranked mode just to have fun and have a lobby filled with randoms Edit: the reason why old cod games are better then Newer ones is because the overall experiences with the game was better
@thelegoman1176 the thing is that Jugg and SP cancel each other out. Modern games are equivalent to you running stopping power and all opponents running Jugg in a way. This approach is the best way to eliminate ghost bitches and improve pacing in games.
Gonna have to disagree on the pro perks. It did nothing to make the experience better just more grinding. If it had to come back, I would have preferred MW3’s version 2011) because it at least it was only one challenge per perk instead of three in BO1
I used to cut out a primary and run the Tac 45 maxed out and all the extras and it was fun asf bc that pistol was just as OP as the B23R and the Kap40 but no one talked about it

the 3 things I miss the most in COD 1. normal conection based matchmaking, 2. classic prestige system, 3. MW3 Specialist killstreak. heck SBMM/EOMM is the reason I dropped COD for Xdefaint.

The trio of stopping power, jugg, and UAV jammer provide best perk balance. Stealth perks have been out of balance ever since.

XDefiant is so damn good dude. I tried going back to MW3 and rage quit after one match because of how sweaty and campy the players are
had Tdm match on cod4 the other day, all enemies had jugg, one guy even had jugg and last stand

As someone who never really played call of duty besides the campaign of cod2 on the 360 I've mostly been a halo guy growing up
I miss instead of spending $20 for an operator, everyone was just a normal soldier and you could like unlock uniforms, facepaint, and camo
My best game was 100-25 on nuketown 2025 double XP weekend. Akimbo B23R’s and C-4 with a tac insert was deadly
The only thing I'm not agree is pick 10 I think the classic cod 4 was better with only 1 attachment and 3 perks every time
