They knew their music is such a banger that they have to release it as soon as the maintenance ends cuz they know the players are gonna search for it. I didn't even know the title of the song yet and UA-cam just recommended it. I don't have a lot of "love-at-first-sight" songs but I immediately love this song as soon as I hear it, like, I just entered a trance the moment I reached the event page and the music started playing.
After 14 and half years being loved by all of our family, my cat passed away the weekend this event dropped... So the story of Ruru hit me extra really hard... It really destroyed me. And cried a lot for both cats. But, this song for me will stay and remember me those last days together, and all the happy moments we lived through all those years.
This definitely sounds like something Noise would sing in a dimly-lit bar. Rain pouring down outside and you chilling at the counter, drinking your worries and stress away. And reminiscing the time you and Nero became parents to an abandoned kitten, even if it's only for a short while... Thank you Cosmograph, this would make a fine listen during those lonely nights

Man, i thought i was 'safe' after the hard mode episode. I thought it was over... but that final blabla message, it caught me completely off-guard. It was like a slap in the face with a fish-flavoured splendamin.
I started playing this game for the android girls. How Shift Corp is able to leave me absolutely devestated from event stories is incredible. Wish more people could see how amazing the story and story events in this game are. It really deserves more credit than it's given.
@@Zombina638 Dude, trust me, being a guy didn't have to do anything with this. I tend to roll my eyes at some Nikke's design, especially those that's "too fanserviced", but the story is never not bad, and that's why I keep playing Nikke, just to experience the amazing story
@@Zombina638 have you played/seen the Miracle Fairy (Anne's) story event? Because that is REALLY good, compared to other gacha games. It's well written, well translated, and the pacing is just right, there is enough build-up for the heavy scenes.

This event and the Dorothy event just breaks my heart. Not a lot of mobile apps leave an impact as much as Nikke has been doing lately. Such a sad event, but man do they make emotional stories. Big props to the developers.

Recently played the event in the Archive since i sadly missed it. Man, i didn't expect i would cry over a fictional cat i've known for only an hour. Nikke never disappoints with crushing our hearts.
As someone who's lucky enough to love and own a cat, this event utterly destroyed me. This song did a great job setting up the tone at the start, as well as at the end when you're reminiscing all the memories with Ruru, good and sad. Cosmo never misses with these songs, thanks for making them.

As someone who was cat owner, was is the key word. My cat passed away last year, don't think ill forget holding onto to it while it took his last breath. 20 years with me, he was big part of my life. This side story hits right in the feels and brings back memories.
Before the passage of the plot - what kind of romantic and vibrant music for the screensaver in the game. After passing the plot - you sit in tears and understand what the lyrics of the song were really about. Poor Ruru, we are lonely like you, got wet in the rain with you (cried 😢).
Right when I opened the event page and heard this play, I sat in my chair and listened to this for a good 10 mins before actually getting to the event. Cosmograph does not miss. This hit all the right spots in my music brain.
I dont even like jazz or blues songs, and i love tuning out to listen to this track, its arguably their best song yet, i hope they keep at it, the music and story are huge components of why nikkes such a great game, both features i normally ignore in most games i play.
My cat just died and what I feel rn is just more than sad while listening to this song. Even typing this I have tears in my eyes and I am just out of my words. Cats are really wonderful pets and this song just made me cry more. Rest in peace Meowy.
As the event ends tomorrow I wanna say that the song is absolutely amazing. Pernelle absolutely makes this song fit so well, amazing vocals she put on just for a song about a cat. I'm glad she came back after Overzone to do another song, she's killed it twice already and I'm seriously hoping she does more with Cosmograph for future event themes. This song is that rainy day window open with coffee song I look for everywhere and I'm glad it came together in a memorable sad event. I'll never take the song off or forget Ruru. This night, I heard a lost kitten call out so I went to investigate. Cute little girl. Managed to befriend her and bring inside, give milk and food to. I swear she's only 4-5 weeks old, too. ... what's even crazier, though, is she strikes an uncanny likeness to Ruru, save for not having a white tipped tail. So, I've taken it upon myself to keep her safe and name her after Ruru. On a side note, I live out in a rural area, surrounded by wilderness. Where she comes from, I have no idea, but what I do know is she purrs like a combustion engine. THE FEELS.
Every time I listen to this song I feel sad and some tears fall, partly because of the event, but mainly because a few months later one of my cats died. I can't stop associating the song with that.

1 year since my last comment on this vid. Life moves on. Find a nerdy gf, she gets addicted to Nikke. We find a cat while walking one night. Black cat, white paws... very similar to Ruru. Call local humane society, report lost pet. Cat stays with us, absolute precious bean. Fall in love with cat, name her(?) Nero. Conflicted. Want to return cat to HOPEFULLY loving owner... but also, would not mind if owner has forgotten about Nero, and we get to keep her forever. 2am, listening to Lovely Lonely Cat AGAIN. I know nothing about the context for the songs, I just think they're gorgeous. this one especially sounds like something you'd hear playing in a coffee shop or a cafe somewhere, with the chill almost jazzy vocals combined with the lofi instrumental. like it's so relaxing

I thought I could move on from Pinne's corruption and Marian's corruption by playing other event. But after playing this NyaNya Paradise event, I almost cried.
How chill, I love cats and this is how I usually picture myself with a cat. I work next to a glass wall and on the table just at the edge a lovely cat name Iris swinging her tail up and about while the wall shows a starry night sky/city lights/rainy day, whilst having a warm cup o’ joe. I really had no faith in this event at first, I didn't play it until 4 days after it came out, but I found the soundtrack relaxing, then I saw the first scene of the event, it left me with a bitter taste in my mouth, then I met Ruru , and I advanced in the story, I really thought that Ruru was going to be able to heal, but no, I love cats and I became quite fond of the little kitten, until the last chapter I really thought that she was going to heal and live in the shelter happily . After finishing the event, after saying goodbye to Ruru, the menu song took on a completely different meaning, it was hard for me to even enter the event menu. The day when the hard mode was unlocked came and I knew there had to be an epilogue to the story, it took me days but I finally unlocked it, it was comforting and sad, I was truly speechless, but I got to see little Ruru once last time, in Nya Nya Paradise, her paradise, with the promise of seeing each other again one day. Then, some time later in Nero, Biscuit and Leona's group chat I received a message from a stranger, who entered the chat, thanked everyone for their love and said goodbye, writing so badly, like Someone who barely knew how to do it, but trying hard. to say goodbye, when you enter the profile of this stranger you see a cat emoji. It was Ruru saying goodbye to us, the message even felt personal the way it came. It was quite an experience, I have no words to describe it, I'm glad I played it the way I did, it will be a memory that I will keep for a long time, I just have to say thank you, thank you for making such a complete and beautiful experience.
Glad to see someone with almost the exact same experience as me (I didn't hold off playing the event as it came out though). I honestly had low expectations from this event, I thought it was just gonna be Bow Wow Paradise 2.0 except with a cat this time (not that I didn't enjoy Bow Wow Paradise, it was fun and cute but it wasn't exactly a very memorable event story either). But then, I read the first scene and from then on we had the same experience and feelings towards the event. The difficulty of even opening the event menu hearing the song that's dedicated to Ruru, I thought I wouldn't see anyone feeling that as well. I just started playing during the Chainsaw Man collab event and I can't believe Nya Nya Paradise would be in my top 3 events in the game, maybe even my 2nd favorite (after Over Zone). My fondness towards cats and the simple yet effective writing of this event, coupled with this gem of a song, a beautiful experience indeed.

Well, since both of you just recently play NIKKE, maybe I can give a suggestion to check about NIKKE last year Christmas event story; "Miracle Snow". I think in the term of the story, it's the 1st Event that had a really good story. It's focused on Anne a'ka N-102, and her mother, Angelina. You should check the story if you like the good story. In the Poll that been held before Overzone Event, "Miracle Snow" Win in the category of Best Event. So yeah, before Overzone, a lot of player choose Miracle Snow as the best Event.

This event hit me more than anything I've seen from this game. I'm a cat owner. Here's a lil' story: There's a black kitten we rescued near our house, he's a small one, a cute looking boy. We tried to tame him but he's just very feral to our family (our cats included). I thought he just needs more time to get used to. A week passed, my mom was impatient (Honestly, a week without a progress compared to effort put into taming him) and she decided to drop him off a sidewalk in a street at night. I was there, forced to drop him off from my damn hands. Those meows from that little kitten. I can never forget nor forgive what I've done. I failed to convince my mom to put him for adoption instead. I'm sorry, lil' guy, even if someone had found you, I still can't forgive myself.

I've had to take almost every cat I've had to the shelter at some point, beyond my control. Except the first one. Parents took her while I was at school. My sister was the only one who saw what that did to me. And the fourth one. He was killed by a dog while protecting a kitten he adopted. I could have saved him if I had known. I hadn't even given him a name yet. Fifth cat was feral, but I managed to tame her. She would lay in my lap and bolt under the bed whenever anyone else entered the room. Then she'd come right back after they left. She let me clip her claws without even moving. She became incontinent a while after she had kittens, which only I was allowed to touch. They made me take her in. I had to see her eyes as I walked away. Kept one of her kittens. Had to do the same with him a couple years later. I'll never forget the look on either of their faces. The last one had leukemia and they put her down without telling me. I got her out of a tree, abandoned. I just reached out and she crawled onto my shoulders and stayed there for several hours. Nobody else could get her down from there. My brother has one of her kittens. Current cat is 14 years old. I dunno how much time I have left with her. She's as lively as ever, but some things make me wonder. My sister gave her to me at 3 weeks old. Too small to enter the litter box on her own. I dunno what I'm gonna do without her. She's saved my life more than once.

I started playing this game for the android girls. How Shift Corp is able to leave me absolutely devestated from event stories is incredible. Wish more people could see how amazing the story and story events in this game are. It really deserves more credit than it's given.

This event and the Dorothy event just breaks my heart. Not a lot of mobile apps leave an impact as much as Nikke has been doing lately. Such a sad event, but man do they make emotional stories. Big props to the developers.

Recently played the event in the Archive since i sadly missed it.
Man, i didn't expect i would cry over a fictional cat i've known for only an hour.
Nikke never disappoints with crushing our hearts.
As someone who's lucky enough to love and own a cat, this event utterly destroyed me. This song did a great job setting up the tone at the start, as well as at the end when you're reminiscing all the memories with Ruru, good and sad. Cosmo never misses with these songs, thanks for making them.

As someone who was cat owner, was is the key word. My cat passed away last year, don't think ill forget holding onto to it while it took his last breath. 20 years with me, he was big part of my life. This side story hits right in the feels and brings back memories.
Before the passage of the plot - what kind of romantic and vibrant music for the screensaver in the game.
After passing the plot - you sit in tears and understand what the lyrics of the song were really about. Poor Ruru, we are lonely like you, got wet in the rain with you (cried 😢).
This music will stay forever in my lobby with the memories of my cat.
Right when I opened the event page and heard this play, I sat in my chair and listened to this for a good 10 mins before actually getting to the event.
Cosmograph does not miss. This hit all the right spots in my music brain.
I dont even like jazz or blues songs, and i love tuning out to listen to this track, its arguably their best song yet, i hope they keep at it, the music and story are huge components of why nikkes such a great game, both features i normally ignore in most games i play.

This night, I heard a lost kitten call out so I went to investigate. Cute little girl. Managed to befriend her and bring inside, give milk and food to. I swear she's only 4-5 weeks old, too.
... what's even crazier, though, is she strikes an uncanny likeness to Ruru, save for not having a white tipped tail. So, I've taken it upon myself to keep her safe and name her after Ruru.
On a side note, I live out in a rural area, surrounded by wilderness. Where she comes from, I have no idea, but what I do know is she purrs like a combustion engine. THE FEELS.

1 year since my last comment on this vid. Life moves on. Find a nerdy gf, she gets addicted to Nikke. We find a cat while walking one night. Black cat, white paws... very similar to Ruru. Call local humane society, report lost pet. Cat stays with us, absolute precious bean. Fall in love with cat, name her(?) Nero. Conflicted. Want to return cat to HOPEFULLY loving owner... but also, would not mind if owner has forgotten about Nero, and we get to keep her forever. 2am, listening to Lovely Lonely Cat AGAIN. I know nothing about the context for the songs, I just think they're gorgeous. this one especially sounds like something you'd hear playing in a coffee shop or a cafe somewhere, with the chill almost jazzy vocals combined with the lofi instrumental. like it's so relaxing

that final cutscene and message from ruru after the final hard mode quest was painfull as hell
I really had no faith in this event at first, I didn't play it until 4 days after it came out, but I found the soundtrack relaxing, then I saw the first scene of the event, it left me with a bitter taste in my mouth, then I met Ruru , and I advanced in the story, I really thought that Ruru was going to be able to heal, but no, I love cats and I became quite fond of the little kitten, until the last chapter I really thought that she was going to heal and live in the shelter happily .
After finishing the event, after saying goodbye to Ruru, the menu song took on a completely different meaning, it was hard for me to even enter the event menu.
The day when the hard mode was unlocked came and I knew there had to be an epilogue to the story, it took me days but I finally unlocked it, it was comforting and sad, I was truly speechless, but I got to see little Ruru once last time, in Nya Nya Paradise, her paradise, with the promise of seeing each other again one day.
Then, some time later in Nero, Biscuit and Leona's group chat I received a message from a stranger, who entered the chat, thanked everyone for their love and said goodbye, writing so badly, like Someone who barely knew how to do it, but trying hard. to say goodbye, when you enter the profile of this stranger you see a cat emoji.
It was Ruru saying goodbye to us, the message even felt personal the way it came.
It was quite an experience, I have no words to describe it, I'm glad I played it the way I did, it will be a memory that I will keep for a long time, I just have to say thank you, thank you for making such a complete and beautiful experience.
Glad to see someone with almost the exact same experience as me (I didn't hold off playing the event as it came out though). I honestly had low expectations from this event, I thought it was just gonna be Bow Wow Paradise 2.0 except with a cat this time (not that I didn't enjoy Bow Wow Paradise, it was fun and cute but it wasn't exactly a very memorable event story either). But then, I read the first scene and from then on we had the same experience and feelings towards the event. The difficulty of even opening the event menu hearing the song that's dedicated to Ruru, I thought I wouldn't see anyone feeling that as well.
I just started playing during the Chainsaw Man collab event and I can't believe Nya Nya Paradise would be in my top 3 events in the game, maybe even my 2nd favorite (after Over Zone). My fondness towards cats and the simple yet effective writing of this event, coupled with this gem of a song, a beautiful experience indeed.

Well, since both of you just recently play NIKKE, maybe I can give a suggestion to check about NIKKE last year Christmas event story; "Miracle Snow". I think in the term of the story, it's the 1st Event that had a really good story. It's focused on Anne a'ka N-102, and her mother, Angelina. You should check the story if you like the good story.
In the Poll that been held before Overzone Event, "Miracle Snow" Win in the category of Best Event. So yeah, before Overzone, a lot of player choose Miracle Snow as the best Event.

This event hit me more than anything I've seen from this game. I'm a cat owner. Here's a lil' story:
There's a black kitten we rescued near our house, he's a small one, a cute looking boy. We tried to tame him but he's just very feral to our family (our cats included). I thought he just needs more time to get used to.
A week passed, my mom was impatient (Honestly, a week without a progress compared to effort put into taming him) and she decided to drop him off a sidewalk in a street at night. I was there, forced to drop him off from my damn hands. Those meows from that little kitten. I can never forget nor forgive what I've done. I failed to convince my mom to put him for adoption instead.
I'm sorry, lil' guy, even if someone had found you, I still can't forgive myself.

I've had to take almost every cat I've had to the shelter at some point, beyond my control.
Except the first one. Parents took her while I was at school. My sister was the only one who saw what that did to me.
And the fourth one. He was killed by a dog while protecting a kitten he adopted. I could have saved him if I had known. I hadn't even given him a name yet.
Fifth cat was feral, but I managed to tame her. She would lay in my lap and bolt under the bed whenever anyone else entered the room. Then she'd come right back after they left. She let me clip her claws without even moving. She became incontinent a while after she had kittens, which only I was allowed to touch. They made me take her in. I had to see her eyes as I walked away.
Kept one of her kittens. Had to do the same with him a couple years later. I'll never forget the look on either of their faces.
The last one had leukemia and they put her down without telling me. I got her out of a tree, abandoned. I just reached out and she crawled onto my shoulders and stayed there for several hours. Nobody else could get her down from there. My brother has one of her kittens.
Current cat is 14 years old. I dunno how much time I have left with her. She's as lively as ever, but some things make me wonder. My sister gave her to me at 3 weeks old. Too small to enter the litter box on her own.
I dunno what I'm gonna do without her. She's saved my life more than once.
