While u don't know if they'd put pokemon from layer gens in a trailer, I do think they'll add newer pikemon into the game in order to give them either evolutions, regional forms or megas considering they did exactly that in legends arceus

4:13 Rhydon's actually a pretty good call considering the player's mother in the X and Y games is a famous Rhyhorn racer, maybe we could even get to see the origins of the tradition in this game?

I think that the “futuristic stuff” is actually just a big blue print, like maybe sometime during or after or before the war they are founding the city and deciding to live along side pokemon instead of using them as weapons, so this is like the PLAN. kinda like the text says, urban development plan: Lumiose City.

I know it is an unpopular opinion but I hope the Unova Monkeys return the legends Arceus dex was similar to the Sinnoh dex so maybe it will be the same for this game where the Z dex is similar to the Kalos dex which would be pretty cool. I also hope Alpha Pokémon return they were really cool and some of my favourite pokemon weren't in legends Arceus so if some of my favourites returned in Pokémon legends Z it would be cool to have Alpha versions of them. I also hope we get new Pokémon regional variants and regional evolutions like in legends Arceus. I really don't like mega forms but this game could change my opinion on that.
Really hope that, as you say at 6:25, we get every Mega Evolution line back. Not only would that mean that my favorite Pokemon, Scizor, will be in, but it may also mean that my third favorite, Beedrill, will also be in. Beedrill's had an absolutely depressing presence since the dex cut, only being in BDSP. (Better then Patrat, Watchog, and the elemental monkeys of GenV, though. Those poor guys haven't been in *any* game since the dex cut.) Also hoping that some GenVII-IX Pokemon can also get themselves some Mega Evolutions.

Which I completely understand because people hate almost any Pokémon design these days even if it’s not bad in anyway. They’re either genwunners or horrendous people… or the design is not their thing and if they are respectable about it instead of saying it’s the worst design ever as if there was zero thought put into it, then I can respect their opinion. I myself am not a huge fan of the mega designs but there are some that I love. I think a lot of them look dumb but that’s just my opinion. I don’t think they’re terrible designs but some could be better. Like mega blastoise, I want to like it but there’s just something about it that looks dumb to me. I like the big cannon in the middle of its shell though.

I wouldn't expect a fan game to measure up to an official game that's when it's so awesome when they do(like am2r) but to answer your question: pokemon showdown. Also includes megas dynamax, terrastal, etc But thats really irrelevant, they haven't been able to even match the same number of Pokémon they had on the 3ds on the switch and that's just pathetic. The switch is vastly more powerful

Pretty sure that one he mentioned at that timestamp is Pangoro, but yes, Rhyhorn and Rhydon will likely return.
