Thanks for watching! This wasn’t my original plan for this week because my original plan took a lot longer and didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to. I’ll work on it and post it next week. Happy Valentine’s Day and I hope you enjoy this little wrapped heart video! ☺️💜
That there is mighty gorgeous piece of jewlery, the silver and clear quartz compliment one another ,very well.. Hearts are my most favorite shape of all... Great wire wrapping work!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Gorgeous! I'm glad it's not oxidized, I don't care for the oxidized jewelry. This way, the star of the show is the crystal which is beautiful. Wonderful piece. Thank you for sharing your talent.
This was so satisfying to watch. I'm definitely not brave enough to use that calibre of sterling silver! Also, I had no idea that polishing had that much of an effect on the finish. Thank you.
Love it! I was wondering why you would use pure silver and ever oxidize it? I'm new to this and thought that if I bought better quality wire I didn't have to but did when using material such as copper wire. I'm confused about so much of this. I've never oxidized anything anyway because I hate to so I use parawire that is coated, cheating lol
Oxidation is just personal preference. You don’t need to oxidize. Pure silver shouldn’t oxidize much on its own since it’s pure and doesn’t other metals in it.
Such a sweet little heart you created! I'm a newbie, so this looks like something that I may be able to accomplish. I will try! I love that you use your dremel to smooth and polish your wire. Is it possible for you to do a tutorial on that sometime? I've seen people work with sandpaper and such, but it would be nice to know how to use my dremel for finishing a piece of work. Thanks!
This is absolutely gorgeous, your work has inspired me for a long while now (still a noob) so I’m definitely going to give this a go! It’s my birthday today too so I have some nice new shiny wire to play with lol. Thank you for sharing xx
Beautiful Melissa! It's awesome watching you work and love seeing your thought process for both design and problem solving, great piece! Happy Valentines day! Have a great week!
Thankyou so much for this wonderful tutorial~ I am going to be 70 soon and have been working with wire the last few months and although tough I love your videos and have learned so much~~ I would love it if you would make a tutorial on how to use a dremel to polish because I am just learning and do have quite a few scrapes and nicks here and there and it would be awesome to be bale to fix them instead of having to wear them like that ~ I do have a dremel :-) Thankyou so much from one of your Older fans :-)
Same here, just purchased a small rotary tool and tried the attachments that came with it to polish but it didnt work out like yours did. Didnt even know about the little rubber wheels. Would like more information about using that to finish and polish off pieces.
