2021 was a TOUGH year for me personally, but amazing when it came to makeup! I really discovered some incredible staple products that will be in my rotation for years. After all the deaths, losses, moves, and changes, I am thankful for the woman I've become because of this past year. Truly, thank you for being my friend. You mean the world to me! I like you have very very dry skin. Hqve you tried the Estee lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue moisturizing makeup. It is soooo beautiful!! Perfect for very dry skin. It's Medium coverage and gives a beautiful natural glow.

@@ImMalloryBrooke absolutely not girl! I have been researching for someone with skin like mine. I am very excited to try the foundation and mostly nervous for the concealer. I’ve had severe bad luck with concealer. I’ve been using it’s skin but better by it cosmetics foundation and that’s the best I’ve gotten so far, and that still shows my dry patches on my cheeks. I wish I had made SPF my best friend in HS! 🤦♀️

my hair is greying and my eyebrows are a mix of brown/blonde/invisible as i get older. i’m tired of drawing them in etc and i usually use a taupe color… would that Merit blonde brow product work? you said it was cool toned, so my ears perked up … hard to find a good cool toned pomade, i’m finding.

I trust your judgment with my whole being lol I’m having so much trouble with my makeup, I just turned 42 and for the last couple of years I just gave up, everything I’ve tried, any and every combination I’ve attempted it just never works out, my pores look huge, everything settles into fine lines, it gets patchy after just a couple hours. I’m going to splurge and try your favs as we have the same dry skin issues, wish me luck🤞🏼oh and question...what’s your fav sunscreen under make up? Thanks for all of your helpful videos 💗

My favorites - Saie cream Bronzer, Laura mercier Blush in strawberry, charlotte tilbury oyster pearl cream shadow, Mac velvet teddy & Modesty, NYX nude truffle lip liner, Nars sheer lipstick in Falbala, Kosas concealer, honest beauty cream blush in peony pink or plum berry. I can go on 😭

Bear skin 😂😂😂 you talked me into that Dior no powder and I’m OBSESSED. I’ve tried a looooot of powders and there is just something special about it! I’ll have to check out that eyeliner.. I stopped wearing it in my waterline too. I used to have eyes of steel …😂 now everything irritates them

Hey girl! You look absolutely stunning in this video by the way…. I have a quick question for you that is totally off topic. You’ve mentioned in the past having an immune rash on your face. I have been struggling with health problems for years, but most recently they have really flared. I have developed some type of irritation on my face and I’m wondering if it might be what you were talking about? Assuming that it is an immune rash, what have you found to be the best remedy for it? 💕
Sorry to chime in but I figured I’d mention just in case - i had a bad face rash and it turned out to be from whitening toothpaste, strips and everything like that! I spent over a year eliminating foods from my diet and treated for rosacea and acne.. it turned out to be a reaction to my freaking toothpaste 😂🤷♀️ Unsure if you use those but my Derm said it’s called perioral dermatitis
@@ImMalloryBrooke right! Is that not insane! I did Invisalign for 6 months and weekly they gave me a whitening gel I could place in my trays so of course I was like hell yeah! Little did I know it was making my skin go wild even making my eyes watery red irritated!
@@Mtmg11 Omigosh!!! So glad you mentioned that!!! I do use whitening toothpaste and have noticed that I am sensitive to it. It causes me to gag, and sometimes vomit while brushing. I have also been having unexplained gastrointestinal problems. I am definitely going to discontinue the whitening toothpaste immediately! Thank you for the info!!!! 💕

Not silly at all!!! If you don’t have dry under eyes, it’s beautiful to bake with. The shimmer can enhance fine lines when packed on, but if you don’t have sunken in eyes like me lol, it would be gorg. I bake every time I do my makeup❤️😂 It’s my fave!

So I do have deep under eye lines, but not much discoloration and my under eyes are VERY dry. Now I'm wondering should I get the Light Catcher powder? Should I avoid baking altogether? I keep trying but I'm unsuccessful and I think my concealer is too drying (Pat McGrath, but I love her though.) When I try to bake I end up looking powdery but my face doesn't feel dry, but the Laura Mercier translucent powder makes me wonder if it's too drying for my face and I swear I end up looking ashy 😂. I'm wondering if Light Catcher is more "moisturizing"? I tried the Ciate' London powder and loved that it wasn't drying on my face, however the translucent color just seemed to be too light for my complexion. Okay last question (for right now 😂)can one "bake" with a pressed powder or does it have to be loose? Maybe I can try the Dior No Powder Powder.
Oh by the way, totally random *side note*. Your using a stippling brush to apply highlight for a subtle effect was GENIUS!!! I had never seen anyone do that before, and it totally gave me the effect I was looking for, a SUBTLE glow!!!

I was able to try a few new things this past year because of all the end of year sales and I really love the Charlotte Tilbury contour wand and the pinkgasm blush. I’m also loving the Nimya where it all starts cream. The Nimya setting spray is good, but the sprayer sucks. And I could totally go without the brrr brrr cooling stick, and the license to glow serum. The next brand I want to try is Nikkia Joy Cosmetics, she is so sweet. I really hope you had a Happy New Year Mal! 🥳🎊🎉🍾 I think we could all use a fresh start, so here’s to 2022! 🤗😘

My favorite this year probably the em cosmetics highlight and the glam midi palate (was that last year? Who knows anymore. I use the shit out of it whatever year it was)

@@ImMalloryBrooke Mal, a lot of people including Wayne Goss say that the Smashbox studio finish flawless 24 hour concealer has the identical formula to the Tom Ford concealer... For a fraction of the price. Do you happen to have any experience with that one?
@@ImMalloryBrooke I am so late to the game. Apparently the "breaking news" on the virtually identical formula between the Smashbox and TF concealers came out about two years ago. According to some comments, not long after all this came out, Smashbox withdrew their concealer and the re-released it and apparently the formula is now different?

I have many of these products. I love the ct hot gossip liner and i wear it with bitch perfect lipstick 🥰🥰. I also love the em cosmetics mink lipliner (and teddy). It’s new to my collection. I also have and love the fenty skin tint and the armani foundation! They look the best on my dry skin. 🥰❤️

I hate it when I can’t remember a word. Turned 30 and forgot everything.
I'd never tried Tom Ford products before this year because I really dislike how sexist Tom Ford is himself. But after 2 years of this pandemic I thought: hey, world is ending and the earth is on fire, so what the heck. I tried the holiday eye shadow quad 'Soleil Neige' and it's such a special product. It looks pretty meh, but there's something different about it. It REALLY brightens up your eyes and flatters them. It gave me the vibes Chanel used to give years ago, when the products were so flawless. I'd say it's my fave eye shadow quad of the year, hands down.
