    God doesn’t make mistakes because He is perfection itself. He made us in His image, but what does that mean exactly? We are not gods- we proceed from Him, which means we are first of all spirit, then soul and then body. Animals have souls and body, but not spirit - there is a huge difference. As such, we have been given free will to either align with Him or not. Mankind chose not to - however,so great is His love that He has made a Way back to Him. It’s our choice as He did not create us to be robots. What use is robotic love to God who is the essence of love and relationship? Do we want relationship and love?

    Gods Glory is his Son. The heavens declare the glory (son) of God. We all fall short of the glory (son) of God. Only Christ fulfilled the law. We have all fallen short. Gods glory is radiant, light. Jesus is the light when he was on the mountain with moses and Elijah he was transfigured into light like the sun.

    By calling it glory is the first betrayal we could have ever made. Start calling it with it's oringal term: Kavod.

    Pipe says God's glory can't be improved on.
    I agree, but that means the endlessly unrelievedsuffering of the endlessly growing number of "nonelect" is *absolutely* pointless:
    -- certainly the suffering "nonelect" don't benefit
    -- God doesn't benefit (if even His "glory" can't be improved on, which is Calvinists' oft-cited reason for God creating the "nonelect".)
    -- we Christians don't benefit; in fact, we tend toward psychosis (and certainly anti-Christlikeness) exposed to all this suffering of others.

    • @MrsFJohnson
      @MrsFJohnson 7 років тому

      AntiCalvinist God has found meaning of it... He doesn't enjoy the thought of His creation going to Hell, and suffering endlessly. but God's glory is received by those who are elect AND thru the realization of His true nature by those who rejected His glory. I don't think it is pointless.

      Fallon:
      If God *doesn't* enjoy the thought of His creation going to Hell, and suffering endlessly, why make them at all?
      Is God's glory increased by the endlessly unrelieved suffering of the endlessly growing number of "nonelect"?
      God's *"true nature"* is apparently *mostly eternally unforgiving infliction of punitive suffering,* right?

      20july1944 He created us in His image with His intent on receiving glory. He didn't give us sin and then punish us for it. He created us, sin entered in thru disobedience, and now He punishes our sins because He must be just. He would be a hypocritical ruler if He didn't punish everyone for their sins. And since He made a way for atonement, complete and permanent atonement, to be gained, there is no excuse for them to sin and be pardoned. He didn't spare His own Son, why would He be required to spare anyone else? He set a standard for the punishment of sin, come in the form of man to pay it on behalf of those who couldn't, and has only required faith in His provision to escape what they deserve.

      20july1944 I believe I said it before but maybe I didn't say it clearly. I believe that God's glory is received thru the salvation of man AND the vindication of His Son.

    This is one exsplanstion of God and reality of many that exist.. An understandable one if one takes the Bible as the word of God and literally. It is the idea that God created humans and the world for his own glory with secondary desires for people's happiness or concern for the suffering and pain humans and animals endure. The Bible is not literal or the word of some true one God but it is projection of the human mind... the guilt, unworthiness and fear that exist in comparison with our capacity to be selfless, compassionate and loving. There was no literal Adam and Eve, or literal Noah's Ark.. these are stories made up by man not to say there is not truth in them. This goes for the whole premise of Christianity and the nature of the Christian God.

      Brad Raleigh, thé fool has said in his heart there is no God.....
      I take the Bible as the word of God, it means what it means, there are times it is figurative, there are times it is literal. If you don’t repent of your sin, you will find yourself literally in hell. Not because God sent you there, but because you chose to reject so great a salvation that He made available to you.

      @@osfitulsa6587the Bible can say anything or everything. I could say the fool is one who asumes that what humans wrote down thousands of years ago must be the word of the one true God. The fundamentalist Christian world view besides being obviously false due to the many contradictions and stories that show an absurd irrational god it is by far the worst possible world view out of all philosophical and spiritual world views that there is. Your your fear based belief system condoning others suffer for ever so that you get to believe you get to live in paradise when you die is actually a very selfish and unloving idea.

      Brad Raleigh, now let me get this straight, you don’t believe in God, but you are here listening to a sermon about God’s Glory, ( which is revealed to you everyday by nature itself, the Heavens reveal and declare His handiwork), and you are so confident in your pathetic attempt to define God that you scoff at His Word. I believe God might say to you, Brad, if you think you can do this thing better than me, then you go get your own ant farm, this one is mine! By the way, you will need to make your own universe and your own dirt, because I’m using this one!
      I do fear the Lord mister, because as a part of His creation, I belong to Him. I fear the one who can withhold breath from my nostrils at any moment He chooses, I fear a Holy and righteous God who is perfect in every aspect of His being, who has never one time contradicted Himself, never one time failed on a promise, never fails to love and hate at the same time, never fails to forgive and judge at the same time, never fails to draw me closer to Himself, if I desire to come to Him. Mister, God is not going to send you to Hell, God, is doing all He can on your behalf while you are still breathing to reach out to you, so that you will choose Him over yourself! He don’t send you to hell you choose it, by rejecting His great love toward us. I didn’t choose Him because I’m selfish, I chose Him because I heard Him in His love for me. If I were selfish Brad, I would keep on listening to this video about Gods Glory, and laugh about your ignorance of God. You better believe I fear God, and friend, you need a healthy dose of it yourself. You cannot mock God. I don’t know what brought you here or what you are needing to hear for God to be real to you, but my prayer is, if Gods love isn’t enough for you, then I pray He would speak to you through fear, because where you spend eternity is that important!

    • @stussysinglet

      @@osfitulsa6587 I could say you mock every other God and religion with your beliefs... I have my beliefs you have yours.. if you are happy and not hurting anyone else then I have no problem you believing what you do. I think fundamentalist Christianity can be damaging to individuals and society at as a whole and just like your experiences and journey has told you it is the truth my journey has shown me it is not.

    • @stussysinglet
      @stussysinglet 3 роки тому

      @@osfitulsa6587 would you still be happy with your belief system if it meant your partner, child, sister or mother went to Hell for eternity. If you love someone you can not justify endless suffering for someone. Even a person on the other side of the world that you have never met being tourtured for ever you should not be ok with that anymore than if it was your own mother. Endless suffering achieves nothing there is no lesson or good that comes from it. There is consequences in this world but only an evil God would create a universe knowing that some souls would suffer for ever. A loving God would not create the world in the first place with that knowledge. Suggesting that God cares about his own glory at the cost of peoples suffering to prove his righteousness does not make any sense. It's basically an argument God is God and anything God does must be good.

    How ridiculous! There is no such being as a "God".
