Den't like the feeling to be shown something that possibly isn't actually happening. These are all fixes for the subtick system in the end...still wonder what CS2 could be like with 128 tick.

In one of my matches I turned it on and in the pistol round I heard I headshotted one guy from the enemy team with my USP. But he didn't die. So I swung thinking he was 1hp, but I died. End of the round the damage on that guy was 30. I was like whaaaaat!!!! Since then I turned off this damage prediction feature.
As far as of now I haven't noticed anything. As I said in the video it has a lot to do how everyone's latency to the server is and depending on that to either turn it on/off
That is exactly why there should be a ping filter in the matchmaking , premier or Faceit doesn't metter . Player with 60-70 ping or higher shouldn't be playing with players with 50 or lower .
I've been getting brutal lag the last couple of months. Sometimes I get completely stuck in place or I'll be frozen during a fight while the opponent can still fire. Other times I'll clip through walls and teleport back. It feels awful.

Since the release of this update I have a big problem with ping, 30-50 ms on average and when shooting at an enemy while standing still I cannot hit him and I don't know what's causing it but I haven't had such a problem before
I still don't understand why people with higher ping have somehow a slight advantage when you peak them, they shoot at you like 2s later and you simply die behind a wall fully covered bcs of a guy playing in Afghanistan. (giveaway)
Id say quickly check the Ping in the lobby and make your decision from there. It's not perfect but you get a general feeling of how the match is going to be.

The prediction system just shows how much lag there is. The ping compensation for higher ping players doesnt add any good to this. This game feels not crisp anymore
My internet is way to unstable and unpredictable to use the damage prediction sadly. But the game does feel a lot better now than when it launched even without it
@@hockeybear03 buy a pci e wifi card....or a powerline!!! You should solve!! Imagine i have to play with mobile network cause in my city there is no adsl/fiber activable right now!! And Its very unstable in cs2. In csgo it was playable, now with subtick its pretty insane :(

for me im only having lost upstream packets. before I couldnt play the game. It changed from always lagging and teleporting, to sometimes lagging. Still trash but huge improvement
A game like Rocket League predicts your position. And if your ping becomes very high, it is literally impossible to play. You teleport around. I think I will play cs without the prediction.

How do u want to balance that when there is a 5 stack with a different range of pings?
There is the option for the max acceptable ping in the settings.

Which damage prediction do you turn on or off? im getting mixed responses. Body on or off? Headshot on or off? ragdoll on or off?
At this point I have everything on when when everyone's ping is under 40. If more I only have ragdoll on.
for me it feels the most responsive with all the predictions settings on + no tracers
