Cos insurgency is not wholly a military issue, it's political and sociocultural. You can't shoot your way out of insurgency. You fix the systemic political and sociocultural issues. If not, you'd have soldiers dying for nothing and Boko Haram using the attacks on them as recruiting call for young people.

I hope you don't take such skills into the battle ground because an average black belt would take down your boys like cutting grass. I was about to mention the unarmed combat training. Any civilian with jijutsu, krav maga, taekwondo, karate, aikido, Muay Thai etc will take any of the cadets out on a one-on-one unarmed combat fight.
The Nigerian Army is no joke. Mess with them at your own peril. The NDA guys are the real soldiers - not the recruits. If not for my age, I would've loved to join the NDA
