RGT 85 - the first thing I do when I open one of your videos is hit like and leave a comment to help out with your rankings. I hope this encourages others to do the same. Thanks for some much great context man.
The Donkey Kong version of the Classic NES Series didn't have the cement factory level because it was also cut from the NES original and it also makes sense that Bomberman didn't have a two players option since the NES original didn't have it as well.
those minor details LOL that he looks over..literally i just came on here to write a post about DK and learned from your post about bomberman. Seemingly he doesnt know these games are "ports" of NES games not the arcade.
Also, he said nostalgia is synonymous IN gaming. This was the first sentence I believe. First of all, gaming and nostalgia are definitely not synonyms, but they definitely wouldn’t be synonymous IN each other anyway, they would be synonymous WITH each other.
Bryan Brammer agreed. It's not even just incorrect usage of words. I see it the most with gaming youtubers like Yong Yea who can't pronounce 1/3 of the script they read (the word 'subsequent' for example).
Not to mention he gets things factually rong about the subject matter. Like at around 2:50 when he says that start and select are red, while its axtually A and B that are colored red. Even his B-roll proves him wrong on this by showing the buttons. How did no one catch this?
I have this Gameboy! Didn't even realize it's limited edition too! My mom and dad bought it me when I was very young and it still works and plays awesome. Need to find it out now and play it
Don’t get me wrong, i love ur videos most of times, but I think u should atleast watch them before you release them, every time you read some scripts you leave little mistakes here and there in the videos, it means that you don’t pay too much attention when you do it or you just don’t have the patience to look at youself for 10 min...are small details but makes the difference.
Man I wanted one if these versions so bad. But by the time I was able to get one most stores were sold out of it. But you have definitely made me want to cover some retro gaming on my channel. Whether its let's plays or just reviews.
This is indeed the best game boy sp ever this is indeed nostalgia I grow up playing nes games and now owning a limited edition nes game boy is the best ever so thank you for uploading this it’s so awesome I have had mine for a long time still in excellent condition I take extra care of my gba!😃
"Mario Bros, as for many, myself included, it was the first videogame we've had ever played" I chocked up a bit there with you as my videogame life went flashing before my eyes.
This was my first handheld gaming system. I love the NES edition and I had so much fun playing pokemon sapphire on it. It still smile when I see it on my shelf. Infact year later I bought the NES 3DS edition and played Pokemon Alpha Sapphire on it just like the old days.
When I was shopping for a GBA SP at the mall back in the mid 2000's, I saw this model at a store called Compucenter, and as soon as I saw it, I had to have it. I still have it to this day with the original box and price tag. Fastforward to this christmas, I saw the SNES 3DS on sale on amazon and again, I had to have it. Long story short, I am a sucker for these systems that are skinned to look like my childhood systems.
Awesome video RGT 85. The Gameboy Advance SP NES Edition is a cool little bit of kit and the Classic NES Range of Games, not all are perfect but was really nice too see.
I really hope that dedicated handheld gaming isn't dead on the back of the switch. A 3ds successor for someone like me would be perfect for my daily commutes! Come on Nintendo!
I have been wanting to grab a GBA SP for a while now, so this video is well timed. There's even a NIB NES Version of the GBA on eBay right now. Granted, it's for over $400, but I am strongly considering grabbing it!! Thanks for a great video!!!
I like watching your videos man. It makes me nostalgic all the time, especially because I’m your age so we played the same games back then. One thing I would suggest is to be more in touch with your viewers. Reply once in a while to the comments that you can. It can only lead to a greater viewer amount. Good luck with the channel! Love the content!
Yep, the only GBA-SP worth owning today is the one with the backlit screen. Of course you pretty easily mod this one with a backlit screen but I don't think that's the point of this video.
@@StormsparkPegasus "the one with" the backlit screens? ALL GBA SP consoles have backlit screens. only the original model GBA consoles with the wide body don't have backlit screens.
Nope you're wrong. Only the AGS-101 released after the Game Boy Micro has a backlit screen. All the others have frontlit screens. Completely different tech that doesn't look any where near as good.
I bought this model & Mario 3 for my 9 year old daughter at PRGE 2018!!! Zelda 2 was the 1st game I got for my NES other than Mario/Duckhunt so I’m a big fan!!!
I happen to have the NES Edition of The Game Boy Advance SP, Any NES Edition Games, I do not have, but I have 6 Famicom GBA Games: Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, ExciteBike, Ice Climber, and PAC-MAN. I can thank my cousin for selling me those games for 5 bucks apiece. But to be fair on Bomberman, The First Bomberman NEVER had any Multiplayer. That was integrated into Bomberman 2.
Awesome vid man!!!! Seems like your move has brought back the old RGT85. Told u before I loved the vids where you'd throw stuff off a bridge or I dunno just more random type vids. But this is cool!!!! I need one of these!!!! I know u can buy the cases so I should do that!!!
Damn, that's an excellent video. The editing is and pacing is way better than usual. Really enjoyed it! Would be cool if you could make more content of this caliber. It suits you really well. Peace!
Lol hes taking alot of pauses to reach that 10 minute mark and he use to hide it well. Don't get me wrong I get why but last two uploads haven't hid it at all
Agh you have this Gameboy, and in the box no less! Super envious lol. I love when Nintendo does NES (or SNES) controller designs for handhelds. Btw, I love watching your opening theme more than anybody should lol.
Yo RGT85.....I totally wanted this back when it 1st came out(still dnt have it yet): had the limited edition black top sliver bottom GBA SP plus I loved those classic nes games...Kool vid
Bro this version of the gba was my very first hand held gaming experience so long ago i wish I still had it I lost it in a move years ago so many memories
About a few years or so ago I bought a plain red GBA sp. But I don't have many games for it yet. But seeing this video reminded me of the one GBA cartridge I do have for it. It is one that has 150 NES games on it. I only ever played with some of the games on it. Thanks to my Switch I am not all that in to playing the much older video games like I once was. I would rather play the more newer types of video games.
Didn't have the nes version sp, but definitely picked up super mario bros when that classic games collection first came out for it. Saw it at target, couldn't pass it up
Loved the content and didnt know about all of the releases. Excite bike is always fun for days whatever way I get it imo. Also sparked me to ebay a classic nes shell for my sp.
I have one, my grandpa used to fix electronics in his attic and he sometimes would repair gameconsoles, he gave me this one when i found it in his attic. I also have a copy of Metroid Zero Mission and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance with it. Too bad the gameboy is scratched up pretty bad
I remember when this released and game crazy had a deal were you would get extra store credit towards the purchase of this GBA when you would trade in 3 gameboy advanced games or something like that.
Nice vid! I got both this and Famicom Micro gameboys. Love them both and don't even mind the front lit screen for the NES one, that's how it was made, and is an interesting item to own as America's first official way the handhelds had their own built in light. I'm so lucky that they both survived a house fire many years ago, no damage to them at all. XD
When the n64 came out and i was disappointed with the games for the system, I started buying older games to fill my need. Ever since then I have just gone further back in time rather then forward. No regrets! :)

Words are bound to be invented or misspoken when you lack a script. I'm convinced he only uses scripts for parts where he isn't on camera.

Dude...please look up the definition of “assimilate”. You constantly use it incorrectly in many videos. Also, it’s “segmented” not “segmentated”.
You're going to segmentate his audience if you keep it up.

My friend had that same hulk hogan pillow when we were kids lol. Never seen another one. Anyway I love my NES edition SP to death, and it's minty CIB.
