The Chairman of the Pakistan National Assembly’s Defence Committee, a former Minister of Information and Broadcasting and a former Minister of Communications, has said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s offer of “serious and sincere talks to resolve burning issues like Kashmir” is serious and reflects a nationwide feeling in Pakistan that there is a need for a change in the relationship between India and Pakistan. Senator Mushahid Hussain says this is why the Pakistan Prime Minister has “taken the initiative”. However, asked what Prime Minister Sharif meant when in his interview to Al Arabiya he said “we have learnt our lesson”, Senator Hussain said this was “poor choice of words” and re-interpreted his Prime Minister to be speaking not just about Pakistan but the sub-continent as a whole. As the Senator (mistakenly but humourously) put it, his Prime Minister was using “the royal we”.

No, We are not ready to align or involve India With Pakistan's current situation, Unfortunately !
We feel sad and have our empathy for the economic and overall crisis that Pakistan is going through from a humanistic point of view.
But it's for our own betterment we better not involve ourselves in Pakistanis matters. It will only demean our current growth and image that we have in the world we are better off without them. History witnessed what it gave us whenever we had connection with Pakistan.
Pakistan is fundamentally and ideologically different and has no acceptance for Indians deep down , the call for talks on the table is just because they're dying for financial aid. Only if there are some real changes in their approach to really have a good relation with India, we always welcome you to talk to you.
Our India has a track record of forwarding hands for aid and any other kind of assistance and for any possible development, we always were ready for that irrespective of what country , what ideology and what background you stand with unless it's humanistic .
But Pakistan see world through imperialist Islamic lens , the only obstacle that I feel as a proud Indian and a human to not involve our India with Pakistan unless they're really ready for changes.

May be some time people are calling Journalist as a Big think Tank
But discussing a Kashmir as a removal of Article 370 and making statehood, or Union territory, no need opinion from PAK. It is none of his business, none of Journalists business to talk with PAK.
Even Un educated will tell that Kashmir may declare as TALUK, or a district, or a united village that is India's matter, it is our internal Renovation of a house, nothing to talk with cunning neighbors.!
Unfortunately we have Un Nationalist Journalists much more !!!

I still don't understand what actually Pakistan wants.
    1) First Kashmir War, started in October 1947 when Pakistan feared that the Maharaja of the princely state of Kashmir and Jammu would accede to India.
    2) Pakistan's Operation Gibraltar, which was designed to infiltrate forces into Jammu and Kashmir to precipitate an insurgency against rule by India. India retaliated by launching a full-scale military attack on West Pakistan.
    3) Kargil War, this conflict between the two countries was mostly limited. During early 1999, Pakistani troops infiltrated across the Line of Control (LoC) and occupied Indian territory, mostly in the Kargil district. India responded by launching a major military and diplomatic offensive to drive out the Pakistani infiltrators. On what position Pakistan want to negotiate, and what they want to negotiate? I simply don't understand, for my commonsense.

    2) Pakistan PM via Arab media proposes talk with India telling that 3 wars fought has only lead to misery ; request help of UAE to pressure India to talk with Pakistan
    3) China does not object in UN to listing one of the India wanted terrorist in Pakistan .
Pakistan desperate to talk to India . But India cannot rollback abrogation of Article 370 and don't need to also.

A journalist should not be clouded by 'patriotism', but should be fair , objective & be informed enough to challenge the interviewee if the latter drifts into fantasy. Hussain and earlier Moeed Yousuf were able to get away with brazen lies. In both the cases, if getting across narratives through interviews is diplomacy by other means, then this is another diplomatic coup by Pakistan!
