Killsre is known to reuse "refurbished" chips, which is probably why your kit did not work. Back when DDR3 was popular they used to sell those "AMD only" DDR3 ram, the reason why those ram does not work on intel is due to the Nands chips being a wider bit than consumer intel boards can manage, as those ram are made out of old slavaged server RDIMMs.
Just checking, is that an RX470D? I find most of the AliExpress 470s are 470Ds (which is still great value but is about 90% the performance of an RX470).
Those ssd s are very unreliable. If you got one working it doesn't give you hope that other one will work. But one thing I want to say that you can buy m.2 ssd from aliexpress they are seriously very good than sata ssd. Dont know why but its true.
Small issue here: Newegg has the ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 AM4 AMD Promontory, and OLOy 16GB (2 x 8GB)(PC4 19200) for 59.99 USD and 49.99 USD respectively. Even if you keep the other parts of your build the same this will allow overclocking, and is made by a reputable board maker. No need to fall to aliexpress for everything. That increases the cost of your build by 10 bucks but the board is in a different category entirely. My only issue is can you get it shipped from newegg to the AU without heavy penalties...
This is really great and cheap build, but it definitely deserves a case. I personally never use a PC without a case, generally you risk hitting it with something, spilling liquids on it, shorting stuff, it can fall off a desk or break in some other way. So even on a budget of $310 it would be practical trade-in to change 8 gigs of RAM or 250 GB of SSD storage for a cheap case. Many manufacturers do make cheap cases with great design and basic cable management features. Zalman for example sells great budget cases which you can get for $30-40. If you would aim at basic mATX case for office computer you could easily go under $20. This definitely should get a follow-up video where this PC gets installed into case.
I should put 2x4 G or 2x8 G dual channel. And maybe if u have money left over buy the ryzen 1600 or the 2600. Idk how the prices are in ur country. Building a pc in the netherlands is very cheap here. Bc the ryzen 1400 is like 100 to 110 euro and the ryzen 2600 is then like 10 to 20 euro's More. And the ryzen 2600 maxes a more power and gives a better thing and does not litle but of a bottle neck with the ryzen 1400 you want. And if u got money left over a year later or 2 years later buy a rx 590 or shio things from the netherlands from a website called megeko or megekko. U can find everything about pc part or use Alternate. I hope i gave u some good tips. For the other things ur build is perttttyyy nice my friend!
That motherboard is not for Ryzen CPUs! That is an Intel 2nd/3rd gen LGA 1155, not compatible at all! If that wasn't a typo do be careful and don't buy that board for the build you mentioned; if you're on a budget and you're going the Ryzen way (pretty good choice) look for A320 chipsets motherboards. I also would get a 120 GB SSD instead of the 160 GB HDD, they are going pretty cheap and the difference in performance is huge.
@@rayray1x the one Bryan used in the video is probably the cheapest you can find for Ryzen CPUs. If you want/can spend a little bit more, Colorful has a A320 motherboard available on AliExpress.
@Tech YES City I had issues with that same ram. Originally got them for a Ryzen 5 1600. The Killisre ram would just not work properly on a b450 motherboard at all. Tried them in my i7 7700k system and they wouldnt work in dual channel. Only one stick worked properly.
Over the last few days, i hunted down a AsRock X58 Extreme 3, Xeon X5660, a Noctua NH14 CPU cooler, 12 GB DDR3 (double triple channel), a be quiet 600w PSU with a new 120gb ssd. The case isn't that pretty anymore, but it came with 8 (!) be quiet 80mm fans. I updated the Bios, so the Asrock would run with the X5660 and did a gentle overclock to 3.8Ghz. Ofc did some tech yes clean up. Everything is working fine and the system is snappy. What would be the pricetag for such a system (in $ or €)? I live in western europe. P.s. i know X58 isnt what it used to be.
You do realize at 8:20 you showed the Win10 product key ? Some one couid take that key and use it on their own clean windows install and then you'd suddenly get a windows not activated error, since that OEM license key can be transferred to ones MS account for use on other motherboards too. Been there done that.
Hey Bryan. The build performs well, but with no case, won't it be a dust trap? I thought cases funnel air and reduce dust so we're better than open air. Maybe I'm wrong. Cheers, Mon from Brisbane.
Great choose!!!! After mining old RX470! (with great number of hours at full stress), SSD with factory rejected / rubish type of memory chips........... and NO WARRANTY AT ALL. Only CPU is realy a good deal. Maybe Kllisre too. But GPU? cheap and risky, SSD? risky!
I would've used an R5 1500x for few bucks more. Since you can't OC on this motherboard I believe having the CPU running 3.5-3.7 without OC would be great. Also other people already said it, but not all things are with free shipping. For example the case. I'm from EU and I haven't checked, but I'm pretty sure there will be $40-$200 shipping cost on the case. It's the same with everything else. Some times they add ridiculous shipping prices depending on the size of the item. Also if people are looking into buying an SSD right now I found a 1TB Kingchuxing with a fairly big discount up until 11.11. I think it was $66. Honestly I doubt it's a great SSD, but KingSpec is no different. Both SSD might last you for years or might die tomorrow. I mean as long as they aren't faulty at arrival they should be fine for gaming for couple of years I assume
I'm in the middle of picking parts out for a $400 build and these aliexpress build are tempting, but i just can't trust how reliable the parts are going to be, especially coming from a first time builder. Initially going for a 3200g with a gpu upgrade down the road, but getting a 1400 with a dedicated gpu sounds appetizing. Still undecided
I was going to do something like this for my little brother within a $200 budget. It is a bit lower-end, though. Main parts changed are the Ryzen 3 1200 for $40 and r9 370 2gb for $50, with 120 gigs of Crucial storage, since he mostly plays e sports titles and Minecraft
I haven't checked for the other components, but actually the asrock motherboard is 10 € cheaper on Amazon than on aliexpress in my country (Italy). And that's including shipping (which will be weeks faster).
The AMD Ryzen 5 1600 AF refresh is only $149AUD from PCCASEGEAR atm, has more than double the performance of th 1400. Aliexpress isn't looking so cheap anymore since the 3500x dried up
Perhaps you should try Masterbox Q300l or something like that for the case, since your motherboard is micro ATX. It is cheaper than all of your searches on aliexpress and it does the job well with holes everywhere for ventilation (do not get Q500L, which is an enlarged version that has some design flaws)
I like the way how you put things together But I have an extreme major problem The ATI video card drivers interface Only shows copy with square of whatever you are looking new Windows update from last night shows my video only at 8-bit I have the Acer b203 w 22in 175 Hrz but I like to keep it at 120 and with these new updates from Windows 10 security and other bullcrap it will only show 60 Hertz and 8-bit and I have been trying everything I can to get it back to working normal
Great video man! Would love to see a video where you don't need to say what we should do instead of what you did, just do the best thing we should do with links for everything. And you should ask for your own link to these parts so you get some money out of it...
I wouldn't recommend the psu because it is unknown and may have some issues running forward. I'd recommend getting a B-stock psu from EVGA cause those cost around the same price (if not $10 more) for an 80+ certification.
Brian you should check out the Rotanium TG302 mid-tower case which is available here in oz. 4x rgb case fans, tempered glass panels with half decent air-flow for $69 AUD! (Basically a Chinese Corsair 460x)
Bryan. You should install the motherboard inside the box it came in. Use some riser to put the GPU vertically on the box flap cover, and the box can sit on top of the PSU. There you go, a mobile/hobo combo gaming PC
Fair play for building on a tight budget, but personally you should never cheap out on your power supply as it could kill everything and also try to future proof a little bit by buying a b450 board so you could get better performance from 3rd gen ryzen cpu in later down the line. I can also see why you skipped on having a case because budget cases are normally just furnaces so you want to spend a good amount on a case with good options for cooling. So i would have to say it would be probably closer to about 500 for a more reliable and future proof gaming pc with better psu, motherboard and case for 1080p. Even then I would still stretch for an rx580 8gb so prob closer to $600.
gave it a like as soon as it started, Negativity isnt allowed in Yes city. with every video we know good stuff its coming. by the way hows the airfow and cable management on that case?!

i love your vids men.
Thanks, appreciate it. Yeah AMVidia is the way to go for a gaming build IMO.
@@techyescity hey bro what other CPU is supportable ?
Is AMD Ryzen™ 5 2600 CPU will work or not ?
You da budget parts King Bryan! Loved the intro on this one.
Please make a video about those budget SSDs.
Those ssd s are very unreliable. If you got one working it doesn't give you hope that other one will work. But one thing I want to say that you can buy m.2 ssd from aliexpress they are seriously very good than sata ssd. Dont know why but its true.
I am using a kingdian ssd from ali express as my boot drive for 6 months and its going well on my first gen intel build.
@@aperson9375 Thank you for your reply
@@sabita3055 Thanks for sharing that
I bought many (at least 15) SSDs from chinese companies and they all works just fine. No crash, no unreliability.
Brian you cannot seriously be pushing that power supply now... Cmon yes man
I died laughing at your post credit sequence... rgb on a breadboard PC! Sweet!
Bryan, my man! Your music choice in your videos is always on point! 👌👌And Hi from Canada 🍁
Have you some Plans to Build a Red Dead Redemption 2 Budget PC?
May be after 5 years of Tech Yes loving. 😆😆
This can run RDR2 on mid i think
@@aliheikal2805, No! If you are asking about 1080p then it would struggle to get a stable 60fps even in low settings!
@@digantamajumder5900 my friend getting 50 on med with a 570
@@aliheikal2805, RDR2 isn't available in PC. What are you talking about?
Small issue here:
Newegg has the ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 AM4 AMD Promontory, and OLOy 16GB (2 x 8GB)(PC4 19200) for 59.99 USD and 49.99 USD respectively.
Brian when will we see the snowman M-T6 cooler review
!
Asgard memory is best buy in Aliexpress.

How is this
I should put 2x4 G or 2x8 G dual channel.
André Pedreiro can u suggest me good reallllly cheap motherboard
@@rayray1x the one Bryan used in the video is probably the cheapest you can find for Ryzen CPUs. If you want/can spend a little bit more, Colorful has a A320 motherboard available on AliExpress.
André Pedreiro how much is that one for ?
Do you guys think aliexpress is trustworthy? I dont plan on buying a GPU from them but I wanna buy a Mobo, CPU and RAM.
Id say only cpu ram and ssd
sir what application you used for cpu, gpu , fps to showed. thank u
Good stuff as always Bryan! 👍🏼❤️
@Tech YES City I had issues with that same ram. Originally got them for a Ryzen 5 1600. The Killisre ram would just not work properly on a b450 motherboard at all. Tried them in my i7 7700k system and they wouldnt work in dual channel. Only one stick worked properly.
8:21 you did an oopsy lol
How much did you pc cost
Brian: YES
You do realize at 8:20 you showed the Win10 product key ? Some one couid take that key and use it on their own clean windows install and then you'd suddenly get a windows not activated error, since that OEM license key can be transferred to ones MS account for use on other motherboards too. Been there done that.
Bryan, how dare you show Tusk gameplay when the Motherboard box tells you to play Earthshaker????
Hey Bryan.
The build performs well, but with no case, won't it be a dust trap?
I thought cases funnel air and reduce dust so we're better than open air. Maybe I'm wrong.
Cheers, Mon from Brisbane.
That Motherboard is absolute Gash. Can you imagine being a person who cant get to a tech outlet, as described, and the Ram dont work.
epic workbench :D awesome that you included the IOshield :D
I save myself some coin too, it's called Linux.
Yeah, i would rather jump out of my window than using linux. Linux is fucking horrible
Great choose!!!! After mining old RX470! (with great number of hours at full stress), SSD with factory rejected / rubish type of memory chips........... and NO WARRANTY AT ALL. Only CPU is realy a good deal. Maybe Kllisre too. But GPU? cheap and risky, SSD? risky!
310 usd
Firing that RPG when your 5 yards away from the target. "Wasted". That was soooooo funny.
Glad you put that in the video.
Don't you just love dust? XD
Any chance you can bench Destiny 2 on some of your builds mate?
It's in the top 4 in steam and it is free and a killer game to bench for sure.
I love when people use boxes for PC cases, really shows the hustle you know :D
The AMD Ryzen 5 1600 AF refresh is only $149AUD from PCCASEGEAR atm, has more than double the performance of th 1400. Aliexpress isn't looking so cheap anymore since the 3500x dried up
Can't go wrong with a Switch! Perfectly complements a PC gaming rig.
bruh back when a 470 could be had for a reasonable price
I got my power switch from an old ATX case. Been using it for years. And it's never failed.
My ASUS ROG laptop (G551VW) from 2015 has the same APTIO BIOS interface, and does support UEFI.
Perhaps you should try Masterbox Q300l or something like that for the case, since your motherboard is micro ATX. It is cheaper than all of your searches on aliexpress and it does the job well with holes everywhere for ventilation (do not get Q500L, which is an enlarged version that has some design flaws)
Love that Tech Yes Dancing brotha! And yeah after benchmarking Fortnite I've grown to play it with fun.

Thanks for vid
What software do u use to display fps,cpu and gpu usage etc?
Brian you should check out the Rotanium TG302 mid-tower case which is available here in oz. 4x rgb case fans, tempered glass panels with half decent air-flow for $69 AUD! (Basically a Chinese Corsair 460x)
An i5 4570 can be had for the same price as the 1400 and most 1150 motherboards can also be found for around 60-70$
Bryan. You should install the motherboard inside the box it came in. Use some riser to put the GPU vertically on the box flap cover, and the box can sit on top of the PSU. There you go, a mobile/hobo combo gaming PC
Hobo mobo.
You need to do a full set up video. Please
I've never ordered anything more extravagant than replacement key switches from aliexpress, might do some hunting around in there.
