  • A great place to learn about the legacy of Sequoyah and the Cherokee written word. Well worth a visit.

WOW! the Cherokee language sign was AWESOME! U can't tell by looking at me, but I do have Cherokee running thru my veins.😊. My mother would loved to have seen this. 😢. I believe her mother was born there. I imagine this place is open during certain times during the summer. Thank u for sharing. LUCRETIA 🎉

I think it is open more during the summer. I know they have events there too. I am glad that it is at least preserving history

Hi Andy 👋 What a beautiful museum inside and out! Bummed they wouldn't let you record that one part but you definitely showed us some great artifacts and history 😮

I run into that sometimes. It has to do with copyright. It's the bane of a UA-cam creator's existence

@@AndysJourneys So it wasn't there? From what I understand the one at the museum came from somewhere in PA.

Beautifully presented. Native American languages are dying. There is a urgent race to get native language dictionaries produced to save the languages.

Yeah I hate that its taken so long. We have already lost so much history because someone didn't record it and pass it on
