    Billy at Permagreen is actually working on tank drains. That guy is awesome!!

    • @mre3161
      @mre3161 7 років тому +2

      Hopefully he will link both tanks together and make a single drain valve protected by a welded on pice of SS to the Square tube.
      I have small wet dry vac I use if ever having to drain out/ clean tanks completely.

      I own a 2021 and still no drain on the tanks, I talked to Dan at PermaGreen and he stated people dedicate a wet dry vac to their unit. I just think for the cost of the unit there’s no reason there can’t be a tank drain. It’s just common sense. It’s one of the things I have to admit I hate about my PermaGreen. Hopefully if they do come up with a tank drain they will include some sort of upgrade kit they can offer preferably for free to all previously purchased and registered units that we will be able to install ourself. Anyways my 2 cents

    Thanks for taking the time to do these videos. You and Matt are awesome. I by the way bought a used Ground Logic pathfinder and truly love it.

    Great video.. Hope you are loving the Breakthru Agitators you have in each of the Triumphs.
    You talked about the machine pulling to one side when on a slope.
    You may want to adjust the smart steer bolts on the handle bars. The bolts to adjust are to the right and left of the handle bar grips and there is a Spring between them. Prety sure the 2016 model the rubber instead of springs.
    If you tighten the bolts(9/16 wrench head) in to compress the Spring the smart steer system will not engage as much. If you losen them smart steer System will engage more. Usually only need to turn bolts a little to to adjust. One side sounds like it needs to be adjusted. There is another way to adjust also if that doesn't work and it is located close and there is an Allen key bolt there.
    If tire pressure is not even in tires slight pulling can occur to one side also.
    Also you can also use smart steer System as Traction control, when or if a tire starts losing traction, just pull back on the handle side and it helps keeping tire from spinning..
    Chris

    I purchased my 2021 Permagreen this spring. I love it. I totally agree with the bottom drain. I cant believe they have not added one even on my 2021 model, This helps me get my lawns done quicker for sure!

    I am a small spray / fert company I have about 100 customers and a large commercial account. I am getting up on age and have tried hiring and training a tech , I use a 200 gallon skid sprayer .......... It didnt work out so I think its better for me to get a machine and stop walking these lawns and do it myself and then hire a tech if it takes off... Would like your opinion on buying this machine brand new or refurbished for 1/2 price??

    Hey Pete I have an 80LB Lesco broadcast spreader could you do a video on the Lesco broadcast spreader calibration keys. Don’t see one anywhere on UA-cam thanks again for all the awesome videos. I have seen a lot of questions about this on lawnsite and it doesn’t look like the instructions are to clear. Any help is greatly appreciated

    Talk to Andy
    They already have set ups like that for the z spray. They have extra tanks you can install. Plus I tried to email you back but you took the video down. I'm sure you did that for the experimental projects that was there.

    Do you charge extra for the nutsedge control

      My company does, only because we use solitaire and it’s expensive, specially where I’m from. It looks like mini hamster food but melts when you mix it. Smells like mint but it’s absolutely amazing for nutsedge

    After using the hand cans on the permagreen for a while do you still think it is a great investment? I recently bought one and I’m trying to decide if I should get the hand can. Also I wish you could do another video in more detail on the induction system. I think a water tank and a mixing tank maybe all I need for a simple set up but I can’t quite figure out how to set it up. Thanks in advance and for all the info you share.

    You think it's more stable with the right tires down hill because it opposes the torque steer of the gas motor?

    Quick question. If you get into the fert and spraying business, I know you need to get certified to apply herbicides. If you have helpers or employees, do they need to get certified by the state, or does your certification cover those working under or alongside you? I know each state is different. I'm in Texas.

    • @jace15076
      @jace15076 4 роки тому

      Anyone can spray or spread under a licensed applicator. They are in charge of training and certifying lawn techs. There is no official state exam.

    Hey Pete. When you flush your long hose out that goes to your trucks, wouldn’t that add more water to your solution therefore mess up the rate of your product?

    • @GCITurf
      @GCITurf  6 років тому

      No sir. You are only talking 1-2 gallons of added water. When we are dealing with 500 gallons of finished solution I dont think it will effect it in any way whatsoever. Good question!
