I wouldn't have minded if it had been just a silly kind of episodic cooking show that went digging though some of the more ludicrous D&D monsters for laughs. However, I definitely love this turn its taken after the first 12 episodes. There's something really fun about taking something that's just been slapped together haphazardly, like most old-school D&D dungeon crawls, and imagining how it would actually function logically . . . and how real people would interact with it. I bought the whole manga series about 3 weeks ago so that I can binge it all in one go as soon as the anime finishes.
BTW, as a former Old Country Buffet "Server", I can neither confirm nor deny the claims made in this video. I can say that they certainly would make the OC Bee very sad and put you at risk of receiving a very penetrating sting.
