Holy crap. This may just do it. What really impresses me is that they willingly showed legit gameplay that as yet is unoptimized, culturally that's a massive thing. That is legit what has me thinking this is the game that could do it. I've played The Sims since day one. It will always be unique in its own right. But it hasn't had a competitor in its entire 25+ years. This is the first time I've seen one and thought, okay, this is the one that should unsettle EA.

I would also love it if they added smart ai npcs that you can chat with. I think that would be so much fun. The npc wouldn't have a scripted response like games in the past but they would respond to exactly what you say to it just like an ai bot would do. That feature alone would make the game 1,000 times more fun than the sims. If you don't know what I'm talking about just youtube search the words "smart ai npc"
Please everyone request from the developers/company FIRST PERSON VIEW mode for avatar gameplay! The Sims 4 has POV mode patched in, PUBG has 1st person view toggle, so should inZOI! this sim genre is about realism and first person is more realistic than 3rd person! its essential for the genre moving forward as a standard option and feature!
Yes…and the issue with that is that right now they have close to none variety in their styling. It’s just young Korean fashion. I’m excited to see them bring more variety for different age groups
@@jamie594 This game wasn't just graphics. From what we've seen, everything is customizable from clothes to buildings. You're able to create your own clothes. You're presumably able to enter nearly every building on the map and do every job in real time. Everything is seamless. There are no loading screens. You're even able to control your own character using WASD. The build mode is the best we've ever seen in any game on the market. Ngl I'm not hyped for the game because I'm not sure if it will deliver, but this demo was very impressive. Also, If it was just graphics, it wouldn't have went viral like it did.
i think if some people dress like that it's ok i just hope they don't have only Korean style. i really don't like it. I like ordinary clothes like in the sims4.
The sims went down bank from sims 3. It lost its quirky humour and became boring. It's like the old Simpsons vs the new Simpsons. This new game looks amazing though!
I was going to say something similar. People think EA has greedy monitization... Korea is a forefront for gacha mechanics... so prepare for a slot machine. But hope for the best.
I know! 😂 Fuck them SK games. Black desert is the last SK game I will ever touch. Them motherfuckers are greedy. I wouldn’t be surprised if you have to pay actual money to do 99% of anything in this game. But to be fair, sims 4 is the exact same shit. Look at their endless amounts of expansions. Jesus..
This looks amazing! I do hope it actually comes to fruition, and they finish it. Fingers crossed they optimise it, and it's accessible to us normal people! They need to add pets! Cat mum for life.
@@flordelbosque5671this game isn't one that going to run on the average sims players craptop. You are going to need at the very least a midrange or gaming computer to even run this game at a decent frame rate with mid teir graphics quality.
The game is amazing but they sent out high specs computers (around 3-5 grand) to some people for reviews. So sadly this will not run on most basic high end computers- but hopefully they'll optimize it so that it can run for everyone with a decent high end computer. That's the only downside to this game, that it might not run for everyone especially those that love playing Sims.
Yes I'm worried it will be yet another game that gains hype from it's hyperrealism and they end up downgrading noticeably on launch (even on high spec devices/consoles). It feels wrong because the graphics of these games are their strongest selling point to the beginning, I wish they would advertise more realistically for the average person
I think they should make the game as realistic looking as possible since the technology is there. Make the computer manufacturers offer high end computers at lower prices to meet the graphics demands of the new games so they're affordable.
@@mchjsosde Well, their home and main market are Koreans and Koreans are serious players (regardless of genre), I doubt they will be that impacted by its specs. I, on the other hand, will be needing a new PC, lol.
It's on unreal 5, so it will be very optimized, Here are the minimum system requirements for inZOI: Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit) Processor: Intel Core i5-6400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X Memory: 16 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580 for me it sounds like it can run on a 900 bucks computer
I've always wanted a game that is a nice mix between the macro of big city builders, and the micro of "The sims" sort of games. Something like this, or maybe "Life By You" will bring some of that aspiration to life. Looks incredible!
This looks amazing! I'll be watching for more on this one. I got bored with The Sims after about Sims 3, and how it went SO "commercialized". You buy the base game, then if you really want to do anything that isn't boring, you have to buy an add-on, but then if you want someplace cool to live you have to buy something else, then if you want cute clothes you have to buy something else, then you want pets so you have to buy something else... I just got sick of it. I really hope they don't do that with this game.
That seems to be every game these days. I miss the Playstation 1 and 2 days back in the 90's and early 2000's. No add-ons and no in-game purchases. It seems that now they release a standard free base game and then anything else you want has to be purchased. Evil bastards.
I messed around with Sims and Sims 2 (always hated feeling like the game was "incomplete" for the expansions I didn't own though, and hated how expensive each expansion always was) but I didn't keep up with the Sims games at all beyond that. I don't know, the way I see it each +1 in the numbering was mostly just a chance for them to start the expansion dance all over again. Milk the customers as much as they're willing to let themselves be milked, and them trick them into another round of milking.
I might try it but other than the cat overlord story, nothing shown looked much different than the Sims. Basically putting back and improving the customization that was removed after Sims3 and updated graphics. Maybe there will be a story mode. Good video though!
The Sims hold a monopoly on life sims, but their are multiple new ones in development. I don’t think the new games will be the death of the Sims. They’re already developing a new game, and I think the competition will be good for them. I think each game will offer something unique
It will be the end of the sims if they dont step their cookie up. Players have a finite amount of time to dedicate to playing games and if the sims is not up to scratch it will die, popularity will fall real quick. As it stands, sims 4 just isnt good enough, it will be a 10 year old, lack luster, converted mobile game trying to compete with next gen open world games.
The thing about it though is, EA knows they're running the risk of losing their top spot to any of these games being developed. It's happened with Sim City with City Skylines and can definitely happen to The Sims as well. Sure these games can all offer an unique experience of their own. But that's all it takes really. Any of these games could come with a much BETTER experience than what we currently have with EA. And just like that you lose your reigning spot on the totem pole.
The Sims is so stale at this point. They've only gotten away with releasing such broken, overpriced crap because there's no other options. Like you say, competition will be good, I hope it encourages EA to do better for their fans.
@@ladylush7931It won't be the end of Sims as long as nobody with a similar cartoony style comes in. The style and silliness has been part of the charm of the Sims series, it's something I find lacking in Life By You and this one. I have no interest in hyperrealism. Paralives is closer to it, but the style is a little flat so might not be everyone's jam. I do welcome more sims-like games regardless, hopefully puts some pressure on EA to step up their game.
@ladylush7931 LBY and this game need monster pcs to run them. The majority of sim players are casual gamers with low-end machines, unless another life sim with low end specs come in The Sims is not going anywhere
"things don't always go the way that you plan" as the messsage of this game is what is needed tbh. That was what ts4 needed instead of making it that easy
@@WastedTalent83 My thoughts as well on that claim... Unless there's some game mechanic that throws random alterations into the timeline after each rewind attempt, perhaps? You rewind it thinking "oh, if I do X I can avoid that" and then maybe whatever change the game sneaks in might reduce the effectiveness of whatever you do differently and something bad still happens anyway.
Freedom of choice is always a good thing, if people think that resurrecting characters make the game too easy, just don't do it? But some people just wanna play a chill life sim & and not die mid-playthrough, so I can respect that. Besides we are playing as a god after all, we should have the power to do anything we choose lol.
literally we have 4 new upcoming life-sim games, finally we have competition and we can choose. Sims wont be "dead", but EA will be forced to actually make a good procuct. Finally I have some hope again, Im very excited to play all those new games
Y’all gotta stop introducing new unfinished life simulators with the tagline “THE SIMS IS DONE FOR - IT’S DEADDD. MOVE OVER EA” 💀 It’s starting to feel like we keep jinxing all of them lol
To be fair the bar is extremely low so they're kinda right. Especially with so many of them coming out now the sheer number of them bodes badly for Sims.
@@mchjsosdemost of the people that play the sims will not be able to run it. Most simmers do not have a gaming laptop. I know this to be true just based on the sims communities I visit. The only way I see this working is if they run it on servers and even then I’m sure it will be riddled with micro-transactions.
This looks amazing!! I never even bought the sims 4, after buying 1.2 and3, because EA started getting way too greedy - taking more and more out of the base game only the hide it behind a paywall labeled expansion packs or stuff packs etc etc. I was over it. I’m definitely going to be checking this game out though. I’m excited!!
I’m going to lean more towards Life By You- it is just geared towards what I want in a game so far. Definitely will have to keep an eye on this and Paralives. I am worried if there will be a sort of micro transaction system or gacha. I’m worried about a full release in 2024? Lots of little worries but I hope this game will dash them all away.
@@boomboombaby9140 There's Fallout 4VR and Half-Life 2 VR (Retail versions) There are mods as well to make a lot of other non-vr games VR. You just need to look for them.
I'm most interested in Paralives. The realism reminds me of my sister's grungy 3rd person action games (Watch Dogs for some reason came to mind when I first saw the inZOI trailer). I'm not a fan, it just seems too dark, not in appearance, but just in feeling. I like how playful and light Paralives looks. inZOI just feels so heavy and serious. I'm not looking forward to that or Life by You for that reason.
I completely agree I like the playful look much better wishing ea would somehow make a huge update to sims 4 and it be what we all wanted from the start when all these newer games come out since they clam they will run sims 5 along side sims 4
I've been watching paralives for a long time now and I'm very impressed with the devs and the game. I've never heard of inZOI or Life by You but I will certainly check them out a bit more. Based on what I've seen so far about inZOI it's not really giving me anything to be excited about but it looks pretty. I guess it's not targeted towards the same fanbase as the sims? It just seems like it wouldn't run well enough on most peoples computers.
I wonder if you'll get to do crazy stuff in it. Like alter the size of specific people (shrinking and growing) or make ém fly into the distance by grabbing and throwing the characters...
I’m all down for the diversity but at this stage…it’s clearly made in Korea, set in Korea & thus a lot of the models used to make these sims will be Korean, be they stereotypical Korean or Korean mix. It’ll be interesting to see who/which/when other diverse models are incorporated but so far I’m impressed. It looks beautiful.
Wouldn't mind them just starting with Korea (what they know) and then expanding to other cities and countries and deeper into other ethnicities later if it means the game can grow
my thoughts, we fought so long just for more representation for years in the sims and finally started getting it, this game as good as it looks will not beat the sims only focusing on one part of the world.
well, you have enough with the world adapting to english so tolerate korean ethnic and themes, ok? if people want representation, they can do their own VG and put the "diversity" they want.
@@cheesecake4648 nobody's complaining tho? customization has shown us you can put any type of race in the game (though im guessing there will be even more variety in the future), and there's also different cities, so if you go to Dowon (Seoul of the game) you will, obviously, find a korean majority with korean customs, but if you go to Bliss Bay (Los Angeles of the game) you're obviously gonna see a white majority with a more western culture... it's pretty obvious. if you don't like koreans, then simply don't go to Dowon, and that's it.
Bro, you think I’m having a dig at it being heavily Korean based? Absolutely not…if you watch the video you’ll understand my response. People are saying “it’s not diverse enough” but as I said…at this stage with it being made in Korea they’re gonna be using Korean models for their character bases. I absolutely don’t have an issue with it, I’ve never made a character that looked like me and I’m an old school heavy gamer…I just make one I think fits the gender and environment . @@cheesecake4648
i love sims its so classic, how goofy it looks is great for sure, but this looks AWESOME! i can see people enjoying both. this will definitely be saved for my more modern/realistic stuff. will stick to sims when im in the mood for goofy.
It’s like y’all always fail to remember that if the graphics are this crazy Without an insane budget, that gameplay will not be in depth at all . But good luck I will still be playing Sims three I guess for another 10 years😂
I love games like this, but the problem with these types of games is, in order for me to play them I would have to make it my job! They're so involved and there's so much to do and look at and try to experience I would have to start my own youtube channel simply to justify playing something so involved.😄😂
I hope the game can be modded. Not needed right away, but I love modding the Sims, and I feel like if this game doesn't allow mods I might get bored and eventually go back to modded Sims. But that's just how I feel right now. The base game could and hopefully will be good enough to keep me comin back.
Your overview and breakdown was top level. The developers definitely gathered a massive crowd with the gameplay trailer and I’m hopeful that they’ll deliver on some in-depth gameplay mechanics as well. I’m super excited.
Fun fact, according to sims lore the player is also considered a god. In sims medieval they refer to you as 'the watcher'. And throughout the sims series there are references to this being canon.
There will be western and other countries style people too. There already is. And they are building an LA, USA inspired world - they won't populate that with only Asian look people.
The idea that it needs to be "diverse" is nonsense. If every character option was Korean it would make no difference to sales and would be a better game for it. I played as CJ in San Andreas, I played as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, and I would happily play as a Korean in this.
wow. That looks amazing! But I really have some "trust issues" 😅 when I see the graphic and everything you can change im afraid of lots of bugs and freezing. Since Sims wasn't always doing that well and pretty the only Life Sim, its the only experience I have so Im really afraid paying for something looking so good and then also be frustrated/disappointed. But we'll see. Im also looking forward Paralives and Life by you seems to be interesting as well.
Not only that, I also feel that this comes much closer to the uncanny valley. I think I prefer a more stylised/simplified look until the valley 's been crossed!
Ya need much, much more that pretty visuals and "realistic" graphics paired with a "wish list" of desired features to dethrone The Sims. They need to come with an actual product that exceeds gameplay and the features that they Sims already has. I do not doubt it is possible, but will they actually follow through at meet expectations on the gameplay side?
I hope I can play it without high end pc, on my laptop and since its still in developing I'm hoping they add emotions and depth to the inzois. Really looking forward to this 👏🏼
meanwhile after 10 days.. some modders make a mod that allows to put their actor/actress face in the game. i hope they will add some features that not allow nudity and cant be access by mods or third party software
Ive played the sims since 2000 and after seeing this...Im hooked I can not wait for this to be available to play OMG the graphics, backgrounds, the avatars look so realistic this is just amazing over all Im very impressed and love this!
i think the only shortcoming of this game are really the graphics because the graphics look amazing meaning not a lot of players are not going to be able to enjoy it because of the pc requirements. The game needs to be more polished and that will take some time and hopefully the creator will be open to community modding which is something that I desperately want in any sims like game.
I love this. As a fan of SKorea I hope we get taught differences in lifestyles too. Like I wish we had built in fish grills in kitchens like they do. Stuff like that
A question about immerison/concept: Are you still able to play a main character like in Sims or is this something like just controlling other people being a god without a body?
I hate EA, but I don’t think this game will “beat” the sims and here’s why: For one, the average simmer is not playing life simulations on a gaming laptop. The people who reviewed this game were sent beefed up laptops for the demo (and they actually got to keep the laptop which is really sus). From what I’ve read so far, these are laptops with i9 processors, 64gb of RAM - didn’t find out what else, but those are a couple of important specs for a PC. It’s very telling. Secondly, I’ve also heard this game may possible be ran through game servers. Which in itself is insidiously problematic because if they decide to go this route it’s probably going to have tons of mircrotransactions. Thirdly, you will not be able to build and there will be no cars. Aside from the eye popping aesthetics I’d be willing to bet that this INZOI is just as hollow as the sims 4, just prettier. I’m putting my money on LBY and Paralives.
they dont say: cars are not coming and you can build for now only residental lots, but the game is not finish...why must a game beat the other, you can play several games of the same type, right?😉
I am super excited for inZOI can't wait to play it and I can't even imagine the mods community on this .....graphics of this game is a 10/10 for me, characters and customization features are great.....just imagine the final release ❤❤❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥
I like the look of paralives more than the graphics styles of any of the other new ones. I prefer the cartoony style of Sims 4, but since I'm solely a builder in it I want that side of any game to be strong and aesthetic
The Sims 2 and 3 will always have a special place in my heart and for me personally, they will always be the best life sim game, ESPECIALLY The Sims 2. But if you ask me if it will ever beat The Sims 4. HELL YEAH!
I remember clips about the sims that were ujust skits about a hyper-realistic game and where the sims is going... and now its real. IM EXCITED AND IM VERY SCARED
@@lecuistotdepzbiensur1298 wha..who.. where am I? oh it's a comment i left 7 months ago... that got a reply. after rewatching the video to remember what this was, yes I do find the creation panel and options to be good!. why do you think I'm kidding? different people like different things. if you don't like it. that's okay? you do you bro. Im so sick of people thinking a game with polished and realistic graphics is the answer to everything wrong with the Sims 4. Go back and play the Sims 2 and you'll understand that GRAPHICS arent what make a game fun.
It's just easy for reviewers to say, the people don't really agree Usually these types of games taylor to the Kpop fans which are younger kids who would fall for graphics briefly
Speak for yourself. I love great graphics. Finally we have video game characters that are super attractive to look at and it certainly gives a dopamine high to look at attractive people.
@@jimj2683 You can already look at attractive people, people play life sims for life simulation...done well, that is, not like EA's miserly attempts in Sims 4.
Optimization does not happen later down the line, unless you are talking about shader pre compilation being added late (which sadly happens a lot with UE). Optimization is and always will be a case of working smarter, not faster. A graphics programmers job is to know good principles of optimization from the start, which applies to all types of games. Plus optimizing towards the end is just... really a great way to forget a lot of changes you have made that could be causing the issues as a developer. Logically optimization should be an always ongoing development in your game.
Its really hard to get over the sims because they have so much content and endless mods. This looks way pretty though but it needs alot of interactions to keep people entertained
As long as they fix game breaking bugs , like how sims 3 still makes you use the "save as" function to avoid the save being deleted, I'm all in. And the expansions won't cost more than a lot of full games themselves I'm sure.
@@MadMorph For those of us to old and senile to know what twitch is and how it works, is this something you could also upload to youtube? Becoming human with your voice narrating would just be sooo good!
While I have a rig that can run this easily at ultra settings (very very likely), many people may not. That means that it's either going to be confined to next-gen consoles or high-end gaming PCs, especially if there isn't enough in terms of scaling of graphics. UE5 is a sweet engine to work with and has a ton of options. The canvas it offers gives designers an awesome space to go wild with their creations and mechanics. So here's hoping they optimize it well enough to run without many issues. Granted, even Sims 4, a game from 2014 can get laggy with all the content, especially if you're fond of modding. Looking forward to this. The whole family is.
I was excited about it when I first saw it, but my skepticism is growing with every video. I think people are too easily fooled by pretty graphics and going "game pretty, game good!". It honestly, from what I have seen, looks like itll be a snooze fest after 1 hour of gameplay. It's still in early development so idk we will see, but it would be in everyones best interest not to be too excited. You briefly mentioned the issue of diversity and yes I think that is a huge issue too IF they wanna market to the same demographic that enjoys sims 4. Imo if they wanna "beat the sims" theyd be wise to have all the features the audience begged for years for (pronouns, stretch marks, scars, braces, hearing aids and other healthcare items) on release!! The fact they werent included in the ad material or trailers is suspicious to me. I also think "well look they have a ton of skintones" does not cut it lmao. The sims has a ton of skintones, and cultural items, and different hair textures. I'm just sayin...looks like all they have invested their time into IS the character creation portion cause everything else looks mostly bland and incomplete, and again looks like theyre just depending on the "character pretty, game good!" mindset a lot of those without critical thinking will have. :/
Furthermore, I find it rather ironic that those who say that The Sims4 is just a 'pretty dollhouse with pretty dolls' give nothing but praise to this 'pretty dollhouse with pretty dolls'.....
@@Sim-dil-e-icious oh sorry I misunderstood your comment. Yes so true. 😭😭 I feel like it's lowkey gotta just be the homophobes that think Sims is "too woke".
It has a MASSIVE more skin and hair etc options than The Sims 4 had when it first came out. It's early access. They haven't build the USA inspired world yet. Give them time.
@@StarryNightxx 😲No kidding. Thanks for the tip. Your knowledge is astounding. Who would have thought... 🤣🤣 Seriously, I've lived in Korea for over 5 years now. I'm fairly sure that I've very aware of exactly what people look like here... Since you are espousing such amazing unique knowledge about Korea, have you ever actually been here? What I'm referring to is that the game is in an alpha state - an early state in development. If you don't know what "alpha development state" is, look it up. They have built the Korean inspired city and people to live in to as a bare bones selection for the purposes of early play-testing, which is very common in game development. They are sure to add more. They haven't even built the American or European city yet. When they do, they are very likely to add a lot more variety of hairstyles and features for character creation that will depict people of other cultures more completely. The Sims 4 only fairly recently added a lot more skin tones and hairs etc. Did you play it on release? IIRC The Sims 4 released with something like 8 hair styles for each sex and only a tiny fraction of the skin tones it now has. And as for scars and imperfections, The Sims 4 only just got those added to the base game fairly recently - almost 10 years after the base game was released. You're expectations are ridiculously over the top. This game is in ALPHA - it's not even close to release. Those things are going to be a fairly low priority at the minute. There are already massively more options in this game at it's early alpha state than there ever was in The Sims 4 at it's release state. Make sure that your expectations for this game matches the release state of the other game you're negatively comparing it to. It's character creator is already ridiculously better than The Sims 4 was on release. Give them time to at least finish the game before you start winging about a lot of this stuff.
From everything I saw I can't wait to play this. I'm a fan of the concept of sims but always felt too limited or that things weren't implemented correctly and this seems to be a lot better with a lot of really cool extra features. I really really hope they don't take the route of EA with its $1000 DLC collection. I don't mind paying for DLC if its reasonably priced and actually adds good content but I personally think $1000 for what sims 4 offers is just not worth it, which has honestly made me just not play sims 4 as much as I would have liked to because even though I can afford it, I would feel scammed buying it and I know buying select DLC would only make me feel like I need to get more and I'm not about to regret that, especially when this game is releasing. EA is the master of manipulating people into spending money and I disagree with that so I distance myself as much as possible.
Realism has nothing to do with why I like the sims, in fact I think moving towards realism is part of the problem. In a game like inzoi it would feel really off-putting to have over the top cartoon violence or alien abductions or tragic clowns but that kind of wackiness is what made the sims fun originally. So this game looks quite boring to me. In fact the graphics are the only thing different about it so far (and the god storyline which is okay I guess but it feels limiting to the kinds of stories the player may want to create) otherwise it basically seems to have most of the same gameplay options but probably with less wackiness. And I find these character models to be unnerving.
nope, this will never beat the Sims.. maybe Paralives will be a good competitor to the sims but never these new "too realistic" games, no one's computer will handle the huge reqs
Sims is about nostalgia and animated graphics which still gives you the feeling of a video game. What is the most realistic is boring. Sims has personality. The way characters in ZOI are moving is too robotic despite its realism...

Jesus..
Aren't most of these games with microtransactions MMOs and gachas?
I haven't seen much of that in other genres of games that came out of Korean.
"Think 'The Sims', but with hyper realism." Literally 5 seconds later: "Your boss is a cat."
This looks amazing! I do hope it actually comes to fruition, and they finish it. Fingers crossed they optimise it, and it's accessible to us normal people! They need to add pets! Cat mum for life.
Hopefully, knowing Korea and its high competitivity/effectivity cycle at workspace I have high hopes with this project
What do you mean by normal people? 😅 is it only available for pc gamers?
@@flordelbosque5671this game isn't one that going to run on the average sims players craptop. You are going to need at the very least a midrange or gaming computer to even run this game at a decent frame rate with mid teir graphics quality.

And an "American" version.
Imagine having a VR component in the game where you can interact with the characters you created... that would be amazing!
I heard they may ending up running the game through gaming servers. If they do, I’m sure it will be saturated with micro-transactions as well.
It's on unreal 5, so it will be very optimized, Here are the minimum system requirements for inZOI:
Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Processor: Intel Core i5-6400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580 for me it sounds like it can run on a 900 bucks computer
It's about time the Sims got a competitor. I hope this turns out well.
This game seems like a dream come true. I have wanted a open world life simulator since playing The Sims and GTA.
I think a lot of us did. Because I did too.
huge jump from the sims to gta imo 🤣
Basically Second Life
What about Wicked Whims for InZoi
This is a Korean game. Guarantee it'll have them. Maybe even more.

I saw that special interactions have animated sequences which makes me happy cause it reminds me of sims 2

"things don't always go the way that you plan" as the messsage of this game is what is needed tbh. That was what ts4 needed instead of making it that easy
well... since they give you a option to rewind time to resurrect characters, it seems to me, that those are just words lol
@@MuljoStpho i think that would be an extremely hard thing to program but it would be cool nonetheless

“never bought sims 4” damn i never pay anything everything was pirated HAHAHA
I’m going to lean more towards Life By You- it is just geared towards what I want in a game so far. Definitely will have to keep an eye on this and Paralives. I am worried if there will be a sort of micro transaction system or gacha. I’m worried about a full release in 2024? Lots of little worries but I hope this game will dash them all away.
Are you still leaning towards life by you with the information you have today?😂

I'd actually try both Paralives and inZOI once I have a chance, they're both interesting

The idea that it needs to be "diverse" is nonsense. If every character option was Korean it would make no difference to sales and would be a better game for it. I played as CJ in San Andreas, I played as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, and I would happily play as a Korean in this.

i think the only shortcoming of this game are really the graphics because the graphics look amazing meaning not a lot of players are not going to be able to enjoy it because of the pc requirements. The game needs to be more polished and that will take some time and hopefully the creator will be open to community modding which is something that I desperately want in any sims like game.

What would be good with hairstyles is the ability to take parts from different ones and fuse them to create something new.
I hate EA, but I don’t think this game will “beat” the sims and here’s why:
For one, the average simmer is not playing life simulations on a gaming laptop.
I’m putting my money on LBY and Paralives.
they dont say: cars are not coming and you can build for now only residental lots, but the game is not finish...why must a game beat the other, you can play several games of the same type, right?😉
How is Sims just as hollow, when it offers more than stated above? No builds? No cars? And you have gaul to equate the two?
I really hope they add angeled walls in the building editor. I only saw 90° angles. Even Sims 1 had 45° angles... also round walls would be nice.

You can’t build in this one, and you won’t be able to drive the cars either.
Why am I only just learning about this? Really hope it goes well and comes to steam.
The Sims 2 and 3 will always have a special place in my heart and for me personally, they will always be the best life sim game, ESPECIALLY The Sims 2. But if you ask me if it will ever beat The Sims 4. HELL YEAH!

Seriously, I've lived in Korea for over 5 years now.
The question is, is it point and click or move controls or maybe both?
nope, this will never beat the Sims.. maybe Paralives will be a good competitor to the sims but never these new "too realistic" games, no one's computer will handle the huge reqs
i'll be honest.. it seemed interesting till the part about your boss being a cat
The use of AI is deeply depressing.

Sims is about nostalgia and animated graphics which still gives you the feeling of a video game. What is the most realistic is boring.
Sims has personality.
The way characters in ZOI are moving is too robotic despite its realism...
