They totally sounded like Burn. Great live too.
That's what we called New School hardcore at the time. Post hardcore is more like Quicksand.

Is this from the original tape? I only have 3 different copies of mp3s, this sounds a lot like the 128 quality ones I found with the weird slowed down pitch just curious

Yeah, it definitely sounds a bit slowed down.
I have a 192 mp3 version that was hosted on the bands Myspace that has the correct speed. Someone can speed correct the songs with software to match up I just can’t find a good high quality wav file to do it.
It sounds slow, but we were 50% wicked stoners...

This is the whole demo tape. All 4 songs. This is the 1st time I've heard this since the myspace days. I still have this cassette minus the cover art and remember all the lyrics.

Yes, it was named after someone with the name Baron which I assume is Chris Baron you mentioned.
Thanks for posting this. I'm sure the masters from this session are long gone from some basement flood or drug deal gone wrong.

Jamie might have still been 15 on this recording. The kid knew how to front a hardcore band!

Some real Connecticut hardcore. Frostbite, death threat, hatebreed, divided by hate, higher force, dismay, 100 demons… tune inn shows & Bristol skate park gigs. RIP Boulder & Ian. I can’t forget the beanery as well.

Don't forget The Sports Palace, The Ozone, The Moon had a few good shows in the early 90s, a couple places in Norwalk. There were some others around that I forget the name of in Danbury and other places.
