I have no idea what people are talking about when they say this looks like crap or that it's not Tekken. Hello? It looks like the Tekken we all know and love with some new features and maybe a lil more flashy. This game is going to be amazing. Not to mention it's not even finished yet so it'll look even better at release. Seriously, aside from the over the top effects, this game already looks gorgeous and we're a year away from console release.
Really enjoyed watching the Tekken Crash stream. Even though I don't understand Korean it's so fun to watch live and feel the hype with other Tekkenfantatics. The hype is real and no matter what anyone says I already know I'm going to be playing Tekken 7 for YEARS!!!!!

Same here. It's a real tragedy what they did to Paul after Tekken 4, a game that gave him his greatest ending to date. To me, that Paul and the Paul we have now seem like two completely different characters.
JordanSalonica With the game being built as the conclusion of the Mishima story arc, I've got a good feeling we'll be seeing a more serious tone given to everyone's Story Modes and endings. Hopefully, they'll take a page from Tekken 4's book in this regard. That game did a phenomenal job of getting me deeply invested in every character, both major and minor ones!
So I guess they are going to a more cartoony flashy anime feel to the moves and fighting like Street Fighter. Not sure if I am as much of a fan of it, but I like that they are mixing it up.
It looks like the exact same Tekken as usual but with Supers to me...which was a lot more rare to see than i thought it would be. Other than that, i kind of liked that blocks and attacks are a bit more flashier to emphasize the damage their are doing. Older Tekkens only give you a small sparkle compared to this one. I might be the minority that really don't see much of a change from the recent older Tekkens to this.

Every Tekken game had small but significant changes made but all the important stuff stays is. Namco is brilliant the way they design Tekken sequels. Other fighting game sequels ruin the entire game by changing too much.
There faces in this game look so strange, and the hair in Tekken Tag 2 looks alot better. The quality of the hair in this game looks more like the hair in Tekken Tag 2 for the customization characters. i hope it will be better in the console version!!

Like maybe when you back dash, there is effect on the characters feet, or like more element effects like lightning, fire and what so ever, when characters do certain attacks..
I think TR's effects and overall style deviates too far from what Tekken has been known for. I think the look of and the amount of effects as they are fit perfectly for what Tekken is.

Ps: I can't wait to try out Lili and here I thought JDCR will destroy everyone on the other team, to my surprise Channel managed to get the victory...but a lot can be due to the limited time they must have had to get used to the slightly modified mechanics combo and recovery wise.
Lili is back to being that scary ass 50/50 type of character again her tracking move doesn't look ass anymore and her backflip hits sidesteps again too, YES i love it. Can't wait.

Where did the player named Rain go? back in tekken 6 he used to play miguel and bruce mainly but he played a ton of the characters. is Rain in this tournament at all?
people have mentioned that when u hit a rage attack the opponent gets frozen for a sec so that prob gave him enough time to recover, its prob cos of all the slow motion stuff they seem to be doing. you could think of it like in sf4 when ryus ultra clashes with a regular fireball it stops it in place for a bit.
I dont see too much diference from tekken 6. We know that tekken 5 is completly diferent from tekken 6, and 4, and 3... They always make big changes. But in this tekken, looks like is the previous one with better graphics (I know the changes, like counter or the "special" (how do I say that?), but only this? There will be new moves, right?) Sorry about my english...
all these new character after tekken 6 has like an automatic advantage over the old characters they are to easy to play with, there moves are in every range better.
