The studio audience were really expecting Damon Scott and really excited to see him perform on stage during the semi final, based on the strength of his audition.
He was either 2nd or 3rd in the final (sources conflict between him and Connie about 2nd and 3rd). Paul Potts for me though is the 3rd best BGT act ever behind Diversity and Susan Boyle so I’m happy he won
I can't believe that they would not even acknowledge he was singing TWO PARTS on that freaking song! Damn! A ventriloquist is usually one voice, but he just did two damn harmonies in this freaking song! Talk about GOOD!!!!!! OMG!!!!!
I feel soo bad for Damon! He just wanted to get the hell of the stage @ the end... Simon was really hard on him... I like how he stood up for himself! ( :
i also think this was just as good as the first one... this monkey is cute as well, and I think a lot of you guys forgot about the part where he SINGS in harmony with a RECORDED 'monkey' voice, that's not that easy
Simon does not enjoy watching younger, better looking bloke's [basically everyone else who's male], who exhibit genuinely sublime talent and skill i.e... Harmonising with himself.
He says he's really disapointed with the comments and that simon always complains about staying in a 'safe zone'. So he took a necessary risk to make it more entertaining and keep the act alive. But obviously it didn' work for them. Hope that helped.
its amazing how many adults like the stuff that kids like that's like saying ban all adults from rides in a park because they are to big Simon needs to think about that i bet if he takes his kid on a ride IN A BIG PARK HE LOVES IT AS MUCH AS HIS KID DOES

The judging was really harsh here, I think he has a good voice and did a good turn, he was just showing he's not a one trick pony. He should have won - sorry Paul Potts fans, but I didn't think he was such a good singer (not operatically, anyway)

Wow..I change my opinion once again of Simon. First time seeing this and I think Simon had his head up American Idols Ass.. It's called Brittan's Got Talent not Brittan's Best Singers. It's a stage act and it's hard enough doing ventriliquest let alone singing, let alone signing in unison or whatever.. I think they forgot what show this was.

What simon said was kinda true.. I think that Bubbles should be the main focus of the performance itself. But nonetheless, i still loved the performance though. whether he sang it or not. But i figured that Simon wanted Bubbles to be the main focus of this performance and that Damon could shine TOGETHER with bubbles and not ALONGSIDE bubbles.
