Marillion, genesis, yes, ozzy and God blessed ronnie. Ac/dc.. I've just beaten that evil cancer, for the time being. Nearly 5 months in hospital. 2 months in coma, 3 times only seconds away joining ronnie. While in hospital, when able, I used to play this lot as much as the nurses could bear. I walked outa hospital, on crutches. Two yrs later, still with crutches but I was lucky, lucky to still hear these guys again and again and again. I would still love my bikes back, especially my Honda 500, it sounded like a Harley lol, but those days are gone, my next life, they will all be waiting for me, ronnie, my bikes, my fast cars and a few beers. For the time being, I'm gonna enjoy, this life. Thanks

Timeless, this has applied to so many of the coflicts we've seen in our lifetime, originally written about N.Ireland, the sentiment survives... minister minster care for your Chilren... Our Men....Our Men... Amen

Well like going to a Rush or grateful Dead Concert, it is just saturated in something not for sale, or tangible to reproduce, because it feels sprititual. What ever the time or place, the show is more than just lights and sounds drawing real personal involvement and emotion out us.
Marillion was magical and true in person. Even when Fish first left and the new singer Steven Hogarth just got on board it was deeply moving and intimate to witness first hand.

Saw them do this at Hammersmith Odeon in the early '80's. I can't believe how they could have become so obscure now. They should be among the real masters.

Thank you for your well wishes, and the same to you!
My govt (the US) is made of us, the people. All we need to do is take enough interest in it to hold our leaders accountable. It's not us vs them, it's just us.
There are plenty of good people in our govt, though power corrupts, and even good people can be tempted to compromise their integrity.
My solution is to participate in govt. Get to know the power brokers. I knew Senator Wellstone & family before Washington. Decent people also rise.

Brilliant song, brilliant band, but don't you think Fish takes the limelight a bit too much? The camera and the spotlight always seem to be focused on him

This is about OUR children, would you want your child to be the one facing the extremists in libya, constrained by the rules and regulations of the British Army against terrorists with no rules and not value for life? Minister, care for your children, the ones whose parents voted you into power

maybe thats cuz he was the LEAD SINGER - it happens in EVERY rock band. Think Mick Jagger ever gives up the spotlight? Or Freddie Mercury? He took the spotlight cos it's HIS JOB.

Their old stage set-up seemed almost talior-made for Genesis comparisons. Yet Fish was so unique and completely made the band his own! "Panoramic viewpoints resurrect the killing fold..."
