This is a good project. With so many different use case scenarios already being worked on. It will be a viable airport. The only thing left is to get the airport connected to the national Rail network and ensure that it is very accessible to the state capital too. It may not look like it now, but in the coming years, when income level rises alongside population, we'll be grateful for these new airports springing up around the country by various state governors.

Yes. Railway connection would also help contribute to the viability of the airport.
Do we have railway facility to enable goods transport to the airport from other farms across the nation.

One day I will understand our fixation with airports (or rather the glorified air-strips..) that we have all other Nigeria..
The question here is how much it cost to build this one runway airport. Probably 3 to 4 times the normal cost. Very shameful.
