I can understand why ML treated FL the way it should not be treated and it was absurd. But then again, try to decipher his actions as ML status in society that he was not an ordinary businessman. Besides, he didn't commit himself to any other woman except for her. He was protecting the woman. If those bad treatments didn't happen, FL won't come out of her cage and true self. Remember, there's always reason for everything. But atleast there was excitement in this drama. Nevertheless, I enjoyed watching this and I liked their chemistry and the participation of the kid. Need more like this when the FL ran away after she got her best friend to tell her ex that when he pushed her that he killed his own child and after the few years past the FL returned and the FL is fake married to the guy that is pretending to be the father of her child as they grew up together and they see each other as brother and sister but there ex's think they are a couple and as they both don't have feelings for each other that they both like someone else but they both were hurt by the ones they loved that they are pretending to be a couple to get back at them and the FL and the guy that she is fake married too and the FL make it look like he is the father of her child as he agreed to help and they keep trying to make there ex's jealous and eventually they then find out the truth

Silly story with so many silly scenarios. Doesn't seem to be a lot of thought or effort put in to writing these stories. If ML was so hell bent on marrying her why wasn't he at the start, instead of keeping her as a mistress. His mother's car obviously didn't hit the boy years ago, he was already laying on the road before she arrived, plus poor mum only had one dress throughout the whole story. How come the nasty girl wasn't already in jail after her having the boy kidnapped and trying to get FL killed, isn't that an illegal offence in CDrama la la land, why wasn't her brother in jail after he stabbed ML, also not an offence? If ML held that much power and control over everything that nothing got by him, hence knowing when and where to rescue FL, how did he not know his mum was innocent and how many times do they have to have the Kindergarten scene happening nearly in every low budget drama lve seen. Etc etc etc.🙄

This version of the plot felt epic. I mean the FL roasting her ex at every turn was hilarious. I bought everything the whole cast was selling. It was very entertaining,definitely one to watch again. With a sweet and complete ending...on to the next!!!

ML may have started as a scum but he's not completely bad. He loves FL, he was planning to make her his Vice President so that the FL can stand proudly by his side. But he has a big ego, he always think that no matter what happens FL wouldn't leave him so he neglected FL and didn't bother to explain about his fake engagement. FLs lovebrain turned her dumb at the start but she has a limit and when that was reached, she left ML without a backwards glance.
FL disappeared for 3 years and ML never stopped looking for her. He was willing to exchange his company for FL and become a stepfather (he didn't know that the child was his at the start). FL was struggling with her business and ML helped her behind the scenes without letting her know. At the end, FL company became bigger than the ML because he was giving everything to FL. 😂 He was willing to fight against his father and mother because of FL.
FL was great too. When she decided to leave, she made a good plan to make sure that she can escape the domineering ML. When she came back, she gave the ML hell. It was so satisfying to see FL scolding the ML every time they met. Love it when she found a stand in father for his son. She didn't easily forgive ML.

Love this movie , there's rational reasoning , not just hurried marriage , also forgiveness but interesting play of how lead actors are not too violent or over stimulated love scenes nor too much dramas of gossip , slaps and hurled insults or men's brawls , love the the man's father to not keep insisting and fighting decisions on proposed marriage to son and recognizing possibility of his grandson and accepting the chosen bride while acknowledging her abilities and not just family background and status of wealth in society .
ML and FL perfect couples.
Their faces look the same.
Mould together.
I watch this drama twice.

So you also condone using their kids to fight their battles. The kid deserves to know their fathers and whether she goes back or not that's her choice but kids should never be used to fight adult battles.

This is a really good show for a variety of reasons. First, the ML is NOT a scumbag wife abusing mistress loving loser. He had ALWAYS loved the FL and intended to be with her, but the start of their relationship had terms; when the FL was no longer satisfied with those terms, be didn't adapt to what she needed and didn't think he needed to bother explaining what he felt were his obvious intentions, leaving the FL feeling so insecure in their relationship that she thought it was best to exit stage left. This is not an uncommon or unique problem in relationships. We have all been inconsiderate and arrogant.
The second thing, is that NEITHER one of them is stupid. They never allowed themselves to be deceived by either outsiders OR each other.
And lastly, the show really took the time to demonstrate and show HOW and WHY the ML had to spend so much effort reknitting the broken bonds between them.
Aside: That veil she wears at the end terrifies me. 😳 Whoever designed it should have to come and explain themselves.
Agreed with everything you said. I loved her strength when she decided to leave after taking abuse from his family. I love that when she came back she gave the ML a run for his money and took him back on pretty much her terms. The acting was good, the styling, locations (especially the final wedding venue) were really good. There was hardly a boring moment with some comedic moments and the ending was satisfying. More like this👏🏾 please.

Opening scenes are ridiculous. She's rich but pretending to be poor. She's in love and willing to sleep with him and work as secretary and all that to a rich guy that goes out of his way to treat her like a carpet to clean his feet. And she's been at it for almost 2 years.
Is she supposed to be smart and self-suficient and independent and etc and etc? Seems a bit of a blind stupid doormat to allow herself to be used like that.
From other comments, she improves, but I'm guessing only because she chooses the baby over the father.
As for the ML... apparently he grovels for forgiveness. But as always, from what I see right now, I want him in the dog house forever.
