When you don't handle curls normally your technique differs ....when trying to construct a more bouncy curl pattern you scrunch your ends and grab up then drop...not run fingers thru it...However the wig holds up well but naturally curly hair like mine would frizz up immediately doing it the way she's doing it....end result tho was great so to each her own.
