THE BIKERIDERS I Intervista a Jeff Nichols e Austin Butler I HOT CORN

Il nostro Francesco Parrino ha intervistato il regista Jeff Nichols e il protagonista Austin Butler per The Bikeriders, in uscita il 19 giugno nelle sale italiane. Il film segue l'ascesa di un club di motociclisti, che in un decennio passano dall'essere degli outsiders a una vera banda. Kathy (Jodie Comer) fa parte dei Vandals ed è sposata con un motociclista spericolato di nome Benny (Austin Butler). Nel corso degli anni, la donna cerca di fare del suo meglio per destreggiarsi tra il temperamento del marito e la fedeltà che quest'ultimo deve a Johnny (Tom Hardy), il leader della banda. Kathy, infatti, sa benissimo che deve compete con il capo dei motociclisti per le attenzioni di Benny. Mentre la vita dei Vandals diventa sempre più pericolosa, tanto che il gruppo sembra aver imboccato una strada sinistra, Kathy, Benny e Johnny saranno costretti a fare delle scelte sulla loro lealtà verso il club e tra loro.

I think Jeff Nichols has a man crush on Austin 😂 who can blame him, really? I wish the movie all of the success it truly deserves because the cast is great, the director is truly passionate about it and the amount of effort put into it to make it feel and look authentic is staggering. It deserves respect. I hope to see it in the theatre as soon as I get a chance.
