First time watching your channel. Finally, I got to see a BK brush review from someone who actually had to purchase them. I watched about 10 reviews from influencers that were all gifted the entire set of 16 brushes. Thank you for your honest review...

They did end up sending me brushes to be completely transparent, but yes this set and this review was purchased by me. Thank you for watching! 😊

I LOVE the BK brushes!! I just bought my last 2 to complete the collection!!! Also, I always finish my foundation using a damp sponge sprayed with setting just to press it into the skin. I do this no matter what brush I use!

I have several BK beauty face brushes and the quality is top notch, I have the 101, 106, 103 and 105. They do not shed and they come out looking as nice as the day you bought them after cleaning them. I need some eye next… I’m not makeup artist so a shader, crease and buffing are on my list… great review and IMO worth every cent.

I have been so curious about these brushes and how they really are cause so many rave about them but of course they have discount codes so it’s nice to hear thoughts from someone without a discount code. That bronzer brush looked so good along with the crease brushes!

    • @EmilysMakeupBag1

Omg that 203 brush totally gave you a deep socket for the shimmer Emily! I know you use your finger and I do too but I think I need this for my small hooded lid.. Loved the bronzer brush cause I totally over do it and need a brush to distribute evenly. But I love my stipple brushes for that. Gosh between BK, Repher, and Sonia G, it’s all I hear about, but even when they are on sale…yikes I just can’t plop down my savings all at once like that. Especially when I have a mile long makeup wishlist, lol! 😘

That bronzer brush worked so much better than I thought given the wobbliness. I feel like I would go for a few of the eye brushes and maybe one or two of the face brushes but idk if I’d get the full set.

hi:) based off your review, I wanted to offer you my little 2cents worth (just for if you ever want the info). I personally like the 102 as an allover face buffer/diffuser once I am finished with my face or with a finishing powder as you stated, and based off your preferences that you mentioned, I think you would prefer the 105 as your face powder brush, it is super soft and very dense and a lot of people like it for powder foundations, bc it packs on the product so well, which could be so helpful for the way you like to set your face with the Morphe one :) gr8 video tfs xo

I think they are over priced for me in particular (brushes by Bdellium and Royal & langnickel [even MSQ] are just as soft, have less drag on the skin and are cheaper) , but the brand is trying to position itself closer to the luxury market, so positioning wise its right. And they are nice as you say, plus you get to have a little memento from a youtuber you like that also teaches you how to use them.

    • @EmilysMakeupBag1

I get they’re pricey but I do love them and use them a lot! And ooh I need to check out those brands you mentioned.

@@EmilysMakeupBag1 the Bdellium Bamboo brushes are great and affordable. ELF has good and bad brushes, and the Bdellium bamboo ones have the fibers from the softer, better brushes from elf, coupled with high end, eco friendly handles and uniform cuts. MSQ eye brushes are nice and soft. Softer than some Sonia G eye brushes from the sky set (mini booster) for contrast. Softer than many Sigma brushes (E25 for example). And they are cheap as chips, and work very well. I have a ton of R & L brushes. My favorite are from their Omnia Professional and Omnia Gold lines. But I like their Moda ones for body makeup; neck and down. The Moda line is the lowest quality from these.
I dont think youd be dissapointed with any brush from these lines. I have A LOT from them and havent stumbled upon a total dud. The Bdellium Golden Triangle line is more hit and miss. I didnt like the duo fiber, skunk brushes in that line.
Just wanted to share that in case its useful. Take care 💕❤💕

You should use small tapping motions with the brush so there r no streaks rather than sliding it during application.

@@EmilysMakeupBag1 Think she's referring to a collaboration set, with Angie of HotandFlashy. Those brushes have charcoal or peuter tone handles. Silver bezels, the part that holds the hair. I don't have them but heard they'll similar to these. Very soft, great quality but take getting used to cause they're also fluffy.
