thanks for that great video, I have one question which is should I solve leetcode problems after finishing each topic (I mean solving problems on each specific topic) or should I wait until I finish the full DSA roadmap of whatever course I'm taking then start solving problems on the full DSA?
Hi Greg, thank you for the video. I heard some good things about runestone academy dsa online book/course. Would you recommend it over the coursera one if I choose python as the main language?

but gotta admit, putting all your eggs in the Coursera basket might not be everyone's cup of tea
there's a ton of dope resources out there, and sometimes getting a mix can give a more rounded perspective
but hey, you really broke it down and that's some solid hustle

please share other sites and other resource as good as the coursera program. its not free and they want 79usd a month for their program.
@@ayandasimelane3505 I enrolled with financial aid but didn't complete it. The course was advertised as including Python, but the explanations were in another language and they only provided Python files. Later, I found it on UA-cam for free. What do you think about OSSU computer science roadmap?
OSSU is great because they choose *free* resources that follow the same course outline as accredited universities.
*some courses need to be audited to be freely viewed
Coursera is not free. any free websites?
What about books are they better than courses ?
Some books are good. I usually read for motivation and perspective changes, and use the computer for learning and doing.
If I know java can I take the DSA course or is the course done in python?

I prefer learning dsa and algo and do leetcode at the same time, practice leetcode based on topics you learned ofc
For the coursera courses press on the free trial thing then click audit the course
The only thing you can't get is the certificate and some assessment can't be graded but it probably doesn't matter
You can pay for the certificate later though

there is no course can cover all the data structures
I dont think we can still get the course for free

i tried first one and it is still free. im not sure what it was saying but in alghoritmic toolbox page for example after clicking blue button(not sure what it says but should be enroll for free or something). In the pop up you need to click something lie "i only want to listen" then you should be enrolling for free
some other comment said it is called "audit for free". it was in my main language so i didnt knew what its called in english
It is still free. You have to click "audit" or "audit course". It will let you go through for free! I just did it!
