Mexican candy takes a while to get used to if you didn’t grow up on it. Most of it is spicy, sour, or salty. There are some sweets tho, like Paleta Payaso (Clown Lolly) and Bubulubu, which both have marshmallow encased in chocolate, along other stuff. There’s also “Leche Chemada” (Burnt Milk Candy), which is kinda like Caramel.

honesty, most of our chocolate base candies are just chocolate dip marshmallows.

These candies are amazing. Alot kf Mexican candy is spicy + salty. Theres also alot of Sweet candy but i prefer the spicy and salty candies. Mostly because you can get sweet candy almost anywhere. My favorite are a candies called indy dedos

This is funny. To be fair, it is possible to find American candies in Mexico no problem. They're considered a bit of a luxury though as they're usually more expensive. When you're 8 years old though, you go with the cheaper option of course. I really liked the mango & watermelon lollipops that have chili powder on them. They're the best.
Anything covered in spice that is supposed to be candy is like the worst form of deception.

Actually there are mexican spicy candies that people put into their beers. Maybe you can find them by the name of "Tarugos". They are like yellow straws all coverd in that type of Pulparindo candy.

All the candys that have ''tamarindo'' and 'chamoy'' on it are very spicy and salty. Next time, you should try the ''glorias'', or some candy with ''cajeta'', they are the best. Also the lollipop called ''tarrito'' are fuckin' delicious.

The 2nd one they tried I've had before and I loved those as a kid.
With the marzipan being a slight exception all these candies suck hard and I say that as a Mexican American myself!
I don´t know, think i preffer salty spicy candies to balance the sweetness of a drink when eating a snack, in fact you can mix these sweet inside a bag of chips, cheetos or churros add Clamato, lemon juice and makes for a hella good flavoring mix.

As a mexican, i enjoy this video a lot. I dont like some of the candy that Mexico has to offer, but i can respect that other people are not a fan of some Mexican candy. But im glad the boys like some of these.

That spicy tangy sweet Mexico candy will grow on you after you get used to it.
The only Mexican candy I dont like is that paleta payaso. If you want to know why, it's because I just don't like marshmallow candy. But everything yall had there, I love.
Most of the mexican candies are mixes of Tamarind, dried plum with spicy powder giving you that bittersweet taste.
and for me mazapan is one of my least favorite candies.

Always wondered what was with the Mexican obsession with spice. As someone who grew up around Mexican culture and seen Mexican candy, it really confuses me to see spice put on candy of all things.
I remember as a kid Lucas was everyones favorite. I Never liked tamarindo until my Ethiopian girlfriend changed my mind lol weird 😅
