    Could that activation of dividing microglia and secretion/effect be derived by the wound of the same injection? I mean, did the injection control present any of those effects? And how the inflamation response (after the wound) affects? Thank you!!

      Thank you for the great question! The control injection was used as a baseline to assess the effect of the NPCs or NPC secreted molecules on microglia number and function.
