@TheLordsPrayerAmen do you live somewhere near a walmart/target? Their floursack towels are very affordable and decently made. Definitely not the top of the line, but they are sturdy! My husband and I use them for dish towels too (obv we have different ones for the dishes and special ones for diapering😂) Good luck!
