“Control ball, need one way or another” the way Pep has brainwashed Pat and this fanbase into thinking you cant have two direct wingers playing together 😭
On Rico Lewis, can we please remember that he’s locked up Nkunku, Neto and Kudus this season, are we seriously worried about him against Martinelli, Trossard or Sterling?
I rate we should go all out for this game, Gundo over Kova, Savio RW, Doku LW 💯💯 But I wouldn't be surprised if Pep goes for a more pragmatic/controlled approach.
After this game, arsenal would have played tottenham, aston villa and City away. With the exception of anfield, the hardest away matches are gone. City better be 5 points ahead.
Don't look too much into the Walker against Buxton thing. I played at a high later and players will use those games for fitness, they'll keep away from challenges and risk so the guy saying he was trash probably doesn't understand that. Saying that I'd start Rico on merit and not to knock his confidence.
We repeatedly strugggle against compact low blocks and we havent beat Arsenal in the past 3 times but LB thinks we’re gonna smack them up. With possibly no KDB. Wheres the creativity for us to smack them up?
Foden, Savio, Doku, Gundo, Bernado can create, depending on how we line up, other player's could also step up, we've literally won league titles without KDB featuring for large parts of the season lol
@@infidelMCR keep forgetting we had David Silva, Bernado and Gundo in their primes when KDB was out. Now we dont have those. Even so, none of those player creative besides Savio and Doku arguably. Gundo, Foden, Bernardo aren’t AM, they’re connectors. We seen it literally against Inter how when KDB went off, the 2nd Half, Haaland received NOTHING. Nada.
@benlezmh1835 what are you on about? Bernado is 29 literally in his prime, Foden was PFA, FW and PP of the year last year, he's literally played 45 minutes of football this season, and was picking up pockets of space and causing inter problems, only for hitting it just over the bar, and straight at Sommer he could of had a goal, we created quite afew chances towards the end of the game that on another night win us the match, and Haaland barely had any chances in the first half either. At the end of the day we have plenty of players that can step up in KDB's absence, they've proven it time and time again. Also the last 2 titles we have won with KDB injured for most of the season David Silva wasn't even at the club. The fact you still continue to doubt this team without KDB is just absurd lol
@@infidelMCR how have you not addressed any of my points. Bernardo has never been a creative AM and he wont be at 29. Please tell me what he’s offering on the ball? Not off the ball, on the ball? Ballstriking? Passes into behind? Penetrative passing? No. What does Foden winning POTY have to do with him being creative? Like i said, Foden is a connector. Similar to Odegarrd. Not the likes of Bruno or KDB at AM. My point still stands, Haaland had chances in the first half when KDB was on and created nothing when he’s not there. Seen it time and time again last season as well. Sure players can step up with a moment of individual brilliance but thats not my point. A team thats relying on individual moments isnt going yo fare well
@benlezmh1835 Bro I addressed every single one of your points, you clearly have 0 ball knowledge just waffling absolute 💩 💩 💩 💩 Foden is a creative 10, that can play every kind of pass, and strike, Bernado on his day can also do everything on the ball, maybe not quite to the level and consistency of KDB but he's scored plenty of bangers, and got enough assists in big games. Honestly football clearly isn't for you mate, go watch netball or some ish
I think we fcked it up boys. Haaland doesn't really cook against defences like Salibaand Gabriel. if we play Kova, Rodri, Bernardo, Grealish and Foden behind him then we literally asking relatively stiff or cold Foden to create and do something. we probably looking at a bore draw or narrow 1-0 win either way cos we'll be camped outside their box short of ideas with them lads. any game with Grealish and Bernardo on the wings and then Kova as a supporting midfielder is bound to low scoring VERY low chance creation game.
Fucking hell the majority of the city fanbase are always so pessimistic and cautious about everything. How about have your chests out for once and have confidence in the team. We genuinely have the worst fanbase in Europe
honestly i think im starting jack for his chance creation rather than ball retention. Doku doesnt create as good chances as jack bro. Plus saka will get locked up by gvardiol if ake were fit i woukdve put him😊
I would argue that the "control" thing is a myth. Go back to the games played last season, control or the lack thereof was not down to one player only. Jack or no Jack, the players kept getting caught on the break...this "control" narrative is getting ridiculous in my opinion. Fans may think they're helping Graelish, but I think the "control" story does more harm than good, the man needs to play through the middle. But hey, perhaps the point is to sacrifice the player's talent for the team...and we convince ourselves by repeating the word "control".
@@SuperCityMCFC Anyway, I'm not the coach and I don't have the insider's context...I just think with his talent, there should be more to this guy than "control", let's not lie to the Emperor about his clothes.

No need to baby him. If he makes a mistake he'll learn from it.
He also had marcelo in knots and he was subbed off last season ....
Grealish makes no sense. Arsenal are going to defend. Grealish has shown time and time again he is no good against a low block
