Love the video the camera on point Great sound great scenes gas station is Krispy clean shouts out to South gate have been in a while and your Tigers stay in the playoffs 👍🏽
@@DetroitFoodReview Scott also I know u love a good burger 🍔, next time u head north check out Rocket 🚀 Burger, they have the biggest burgers in the state of Michigan maybe Worldwide located 1375 Baldwin Ave, Pontiac, MI 48340 Just a few miles down from Great lake Crossing 😀
This place is in Ypsi, but nearby kinda. It's Sidetracks Bar and Grill. It's not only the best burger in this region, but some can argue it could be the best in America. It's lower-priced than Five Guys and 20 times more quality. Plus it's bumping, it's hip, it's historical, and they have amazing soup. Their whole menu is good. If you are going out on a date or catching up with friends, this is the hot spot.
That sounds like an awesome spot. I've never heard of it. I'll have to give it a try. Always looking for a great burger. Thanks for your recommendation and thanks for checking out the video! ❤️
Gotta try Full Rack Barbecue in Saint Clair Shores on Mack. So much to try there, but the Whiskey River Burger is fantastic. It's a Mom & Pop store, no other locations, also try their Texas Twinkies if you can, bacon wrapped jalapenos stuffed with cheese, they sell out instantly even though they make several batches a day. A real hidden gem.
Love, taystee's burgers! I did a review at the Taylor location at the beginning of the year, but I've never been to the Dearborn one. Thanks for the recommendation!!
I didn't know if you'd be interested in reviewing any national chain restaurants, but Shake Shack downtown and Portillo's in Livonia both make rather good burgers in my opinion. I'm not a fan of Five Guys, so take that as a gauge for what you might think about those other places.
Thank you for the recommendations! I have done national chains in the past like Taco, Bell and Sonic. Lately though, I've been focusing on the small business owners and more mom and pop type places. Thanks for checking out the video!
@@DetroitFoodReview in that case, have you checked out Miller's (bar) in Dearborn which is locally famous for having a menu that's essentially nothing but burgers? I don't know how easy it would be to make a video in there because they're always busy, but I suppose if you go at 2:45 in the afternoon on a Wednesday you might find it quiet. They offer almost nothing in the way of condiments except cheese, raw onion, pickles, ... that's it. You have to put the pickles and onion on yourself. No lettuce. No tomatoes. No mushrooms. No hot peppers. There won't even grill the onions for you. They don't have a menu actually. The question is, "Do you want a burger? How do you want it done? Cheese?" They do offer fries and onion rings. I think it may be the best burger in the metro area. The other contender in my mind is Redcoat Tavern (two locations in the metro area). They offer lots of different things on their burgers. They're on the expensive side, but everything they do is really really good. If your going to get something in addition to a burger there, make it the Mount Vernon ham sandwich. I suggest getting the burger medium rare and get the original Redcoat Tavern style burger with lettuce, tomato and their creamy sauce. That's another contender for best burger in the area - heck, the world!
@@AndyBHome@AndyBHome I've had Millers back in the day, but I've never tried red coat. I'll have to try both of them. You're right, it's really tough to do a video in a busy restaurant. That's why I try to do them in the car. Usually. I can control the sound and distractions better. Thanks for all your recommendations!
Awesome my Downriver brother! Thank you for checking out the videos! I definitely work hard behind the scenes to keep it in check lol there's a lot of "one more reps" at the gym too!
I get it but I don't post the bad reviews. If I go to a place and I don't enjoy it i won't do a video there. I don't want to hurt businesses. As far as my rating goes I usually go low eights if it's not as good. 8.5 being a standard and then anything above being better. Hope that helps with the rating thing
It's on the corner of Pennsylvania and McCann. I put the address in the video but next time I'll make sure to mention the cross streets. Thanks for checking it out!
The best burger is the 1 you fix in your own home ..the employees in these establishments have poor attitudes and the food that's prepared is thrown together with no concerns

Thank you brother! Appreciate that! Go Tigers! 🐯

You have to try Taystee's Burgers. They are located (they have a few new locations now too) inside a gas station in Dearborn too. Amazing.

Something about people jamming food in their face and making noise eating makes my skin crawl…
Kinda misleading thought it was Detroit
