@@AugmentedActor it’s great to be back ❤️ I’ve been away(more or less) from all social media for about 3 weeks. But now I’m back again 🙌 #no1fan hehehe 😇
so I am in the wrong profession? Current in the proffesion the ChildCare, but I been thinking lately that I want to be back to Theatre. I was studying Theatre Art in the University back in 2015, but I stopped for personal reasons
@@tangoingthekitchen Theatre can be very fun and rewarding and I love it, but it's very difficult to make a decent living from it. I think it's something that you may want to dip your toe back into and see how things go. It's always nice to have some other skills and a flexible side job available before you take the plunge into full time acting.
But I definitely recommend doing some theater when you can.

Wow, this is scary. Almost all of this is me. I’m a doctor and few years out of training, hitting a snag in my happiness and have been thinking of a career change. I feel like I’ve been acting my whole life, just to survive. Been really thinking of trying out acting, even if it’s just to learn that I in fact suck. Thanks for the inspiration!
Glad to inspire you. The two career paths are vastly different, but I always say pursuing your own personal joy has benefits beyond income. But I would totally investigate it on the side before you totally make the switch. Make sure it's right for you. It's also possible to pursue it as a hobby that you do on occasion. Best of luck!
Great information, and I love your eloquence and presentation in video format!
Thank you. I try to explain things well. You should see all my outtakes. Not so eloquent there. Haha
All of your videos and topics are ON DAMN POINT! Thanks a lot sir.
Thanks. I appreciate hearing that.
I’m 11 years old and I have dreamed of being an actor and you help me a lot with doing something that I’m really passionate about that is acting! Thank you so much
You’re so welcome. I hope you get into it and have a great time.

Listening to you sir, I realized that most of the Aspects you’ve spoke about, are fitting on me like a shoe ! I will do every thing to be an actor.
Always a good sign when you can check off most of the boxes. It means you’re on the right path. Best of luck in your journey.

Hello Sir, first up thank you for this Video i really liked it. Now my question, let's say i have half of the abilities and people told me i have them, but i am missing out or am not that strong on the other half. Can i learn all of them? In my opinion, talent is learned most of the time, but i am really interested in your opinion.
Absolutely, these are all skills and skills are things you learn. Some are easier to learn than others. Some people for instance just can't sing on pitch or move well, other may struggle with portraying emotions. It's been a while since I watched this video to remember what all I mentioned in it. But yes, if you have half the skills you are in a good place. Just keep training and working on the skills that you lack and you'll eventually get better at them. Thanks for your question.
😍Thanks for this informative video 🥰🥰 love from kerala (india)🇮🇳🇮🇳
You’re welcome! Love to you too!!

Great video 👏🏼👏🏼 if reading is key for actors then how can a person with dyslexia pursue a acting career?
Thanks. If you struggle reading for any reason, you will have an additional obstacle to overcome on your path to performing a role. That’s not to say you can’t pursue acting or that you can’t be an excellent actor.
I know a few people with dyslexia who act. It just takes them a little extra effort during rehearsals and auditions. They may struggle with cold readings. But once they have their lines learned they have no trouble performing. In other words, this would be a skill they would want to work extra hard on to figure out methods of adapting to what they need to do.

Hey, no worries. Found your explanation really useful and reassuring in a world of sheep who want everyone to have the same homogenous personality 😷
Do you see In person auditions making a comeback soon? I hate self tapes I miss in person connection as an actor
I’ve already seen signs of in person auditions returning in the theatre world. For film, very little in person. I think the world has adopted the work from home or hybrid workplace and many dont want to return. I think the self tape model is going to stick around as an option. It is a lot easier for casting folks to review tapes for an initial call than to schedule a space, and coordinate all the actors for an audition. But I’m with you. I really don’t enjoy self tapes and all the extra work they require of the actor to accomplish. But I’m afraid they are here to stay in many cases.
I fear speaking English fluent and low level of English knowledge so is there a way to enter in acting school?
It will be extra work for you as you’d have to learn English words while you are also acting. But there may be options to find an acting course taught in your native language. If you are interested in English language acting you can still do it as performing would be an interesting way of learning English. Many opera singers learn to sing in foreign languages so I think you could do it. I would recommend taking a course in English language before or during your acting studies.
I am all those things and i am 13 I wanted to be one but my mom wants me to be a vet and i dont have an agent what must i do 😢😢😢
At 13, it's still really early to make a decision like that. I would recommend joining some acting classes at school or in your community and still keeping learning about all career options. Do some school shows or community theater or get yourself a camera and start shooting movies yourself with your friends. Don't worry about agents right now. If you become an actor, the agent will come later once you've worked a little bit and built up your credits. As for becoming a vet, I'm not going to tell you whether that's the right career for you or not. But it sounds to me like your mom just wants you to be able to earn a good living. Ultimately it's your life and if you are not interested in any career, you probably won't be happy in the long run if you take it. Acting is a very tough business and it is very hard to make a living from, so I suggest exploring all your options and if you find that acting is what you love then your parents will eventually come around to the idea. I know it seems like you need to make all these decisions right now. You don't! Just start exploring acting whenever you can and see where it takes you. You can do that while you explore other options as well.
@@AugmentedActor thank you for the advice i will see where life takes me but i will start my own acting acountthanks a million
Unless you’re Steve Mcqueen. He’s the greatest.
He was one of the greats for sure.
For everyone who is eager to succeed as an actor or actress, I recommend Dr Russell Ehigiator a great spiritualist on UA-cam, he help my career as footballer.
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll check him out.
