Very nice boots. One day I might consider getting motorcycle boots... I wear leather steal toed boots from Walmart. They are really affordable... However, I have heard mixed reviews about riding with stealtoed boots
Those look pretty nice...thanks for the review. I'm going to need new boots soon, but I think I'm going to stick to the high top style like I currently use. Seeing how those look on you makes me think they'd be a little too low for me.
SInce you had these boots for a couple years now maybe you can answer this: do they expand out over time? I bought a size 42 and they are kind of snug around my pinky toe. I am typically a US size 10 but heard these run large. So I am wondering if I should return it for a size 43, if they do expand a bit once they are broken in I'll keep them.
after a couple years they still fit pretty snug. if they stretched, it was just the slightest... im a size 9.5 by the way. i would say walk around the house for a while (30-45mins) that way you can keep them clean. if it's still uncomfortable on your pinky toe, exchange them. thats once less thing on your mind when having to deal with the streets.
Very cool boots, Onyx; but you expect that from Alpinestar. They do match up good with your gloves. Pants and jacket will be next and you won't be "squidding" around those dangerous California drivers. 😃👍
+Rick Rudge i just need to find a good set that breathe really really well, the summer heat alone encourages me to squid up so something that breathes amazingly would help me gear up even during summer
I’m a big fan of my mesh jacket with the CE pads. The air goes right through it, despite having handy inside pockets which is good during those hot Summer days. It also has a nice removable liner (also with pockets) that is great in the colder winter months. I’m not sure if Alpenstars has any without so much leather.
Thanks good vid. You helped me make my decision, I just ordered mine.
