i remember reading these 2000s Spider-man comics with marrow in it before playing MvC2. I was impressed they put her in the game, such an obscure character
Her anti air can lead to sick mixups to a falling opponent if you get underneath them. Pair her with an anti air assist that lifts your opponent, and you can get into a good position underneath. Plus her super combos off her anti air.
I notice I a lot of low tier to mid tier are actually good especially characters like roll if you put the work and use fighting game fundamentals and more fun to more variety besides high tier characters it’s makes the game more fun to look at. Hopefully capcom will rereleased mvc2 and other marvel vs series on modern consoles because these games are a classic. And also keep up the good work J Wongg your content is entertaining
what i really miss is the mvc1 buttons where you don't repeat the first 2 buttons to access mp at mk. i hope they still use that in the other mvc games
and the game play of mvc2 is a different one compared to mvc1 where you usually combo with your character with limited assist. although if i have ps2 that time i could have practiced mvc2 haha
You should really do individual character guides. Not just watching sets, but going into training mode and covering combos, mixups, oki, and team positions to help explain to new players why characters are good/fun. I tried to get into MvC2 recently, and I couldn't find anything current/accurate to learn the game.

Good stuff, never seen some of those 50/50's A bigger hit box on her bonerang and a decent dive kick for legitimate high low during bonerang block stun would dramatically change her usefulness. Make one of her assists or even both functional and she's in the meta. All three of those assists could be made VERY useful by small adjustments.

Marrow is a underrated character from marvel.... the writers don't know how to use her properly in comics or in movies. Same with Gambit and a lot of characters.... this day and age if it ain't woke and broke it isn't worth their time it seems and while doing so it is ruining the brand beyond repair.
I have been saying for Years - Marrow doesn't suck; she is a delicate weapon with a high learning/timing curve. You can do Nasty stuff with her anti air assist.
