^ I made an updated sizing guide with some more info on the shoes mentioned here as well as some different models too!
Hey everyone, I made this because I couldn't find something consistent on the net when looking for Rick Owens sizing tips. So hope this helps anyone looking for some guidance along the way.
This is from my experience so it isn't going to be the ultimate thing for everyone, just a heads up.

I'm a US 9.5, UK 8.5, JP 27.5, EU 42/43
I also have pretty wide feet so I go at least half a size up.
If you have any questions feel free to ask, will do my best to respond.
Basically
- Collab shoes - TTS or half up
- Mainline / DRKSHDW - at least one size down.

I’m confirming the geobaskets are half size/full size down (for 2022 pairs, haven’t had others). Usually 10.5/11, 10.5 in allen edmond and most quality footwear, 11 in certain nikes. Toe box is roomy and mid shoe + heel is snug.

Thank you for this awesome video! I am tts 9.5, went to the store today and they only had 43 geos in a hideous color yet fitted well, roomy in toebox but snug in leg. Now after watching this video I’m not sure if to order online 42 or 42.5 or to stick with 43🤣
I’d stick with the 43 since you know exactly how they’ll fit !

I have pretty wide feet as well and as a result always size up in other shoes and actually had to size down in ramones lol.
Are you looking at Mainline or DRKSHDW? I’d say go the 43 but definitely see if you’re able to try some on / you’re able to return if they don’t fit.
we are almost the same size, go true to size or maximum go half a size up!
I had the converse trbwpn collab and they fit me true to size (same size as my nike shoes) then I got a pair of mainline ramones in 44 (my tts is 44 1/2) thinking that would be enough. But they were way too big so i think for non collabs you could even go 1 1/2 sizes down for a good fit. Its really confusing and i didnt see anything on farfetch about the sizing of these
Yeah sizing is one of those things that is just so unclear it really feels like you’re rolling the dice.

I’d say so, if they don’t fit they’ll still have resale value so you can get all or at least most of your money back

@Po Nomo I would've gone a 43, but you'll likely be able to return them if you bought them off a proper shop. Hopefully they fit okay!

You may want to consider a 9.5! Or get a 10 just in case. Definitely see if you can try before you buy or if the place allows returns if you’re buying new.

39 / 40 to be safe. Definitely see if you can try a pair on if there’s a place that stocks them though !

Hey mate I’m similarly sized and I initially got size 43 and they looked and felt like clown shoes. I now wear a 41 in drkshdw ramones and they fit just fine. But I reckon try a 42 just to be safe cause you can just put insoles in to make them fit more snug.

Maybe you could go a 40/41 size and then resell them if your feet grow too large for them ? There’s still high demand for ramones so you could definitely do it. But it’s a hassle so if you can actually wait best to see how you go once your feet stop growing

hey im thinking about getting some hightop ramones. im only 17 and i feel like im gonna grow so i wanna future proof them if possible. im a size 9.5 as of rn (i’ve been the same size since 9th grade) should i get a 42 and throw in an insole? or do you think ill be fine with a 41?
I dunno how much more your feet are gonna grow so it’s probably best to play it safe and get a 42! An insole can help if they’re too big but if they’re too small you don’t have many options besides replacing them.

I’m not too sure actually! But if you’re buying them new check to see if the place you’re buying from allows returns if they don’t fit. In addition to that they hold value so if you just need to sell them on it’s likely you will be able to as well. Btw you have HUGE feet wow. Hopefully someone else can answer you properly!
I've been looking at getting a pair of DRKSHDW Ramones, I wear a US 14 and I was hoping I could fit an EU 46. Normally a US 14 converts to a EU 47 but I'm probably a true 13.5 but that is pretty much non-existent besides the Rick Owens runners that I have that are 13.5. What would you recommend? Not looking to drop $600+ on a pair that doesn't fit
Hey mate - I think a 46 would be okay (wow your feet are huge) as they fit pretty big, however if there’s any way to go into a shop and try them on it’s be your best bet.
@@Jacargon I've never been able to actually find a pair of any Rick in a store where I'm from (Oregon) and I found my pair in Los Angeles. I will keep that in mind I appreciate the heads up, firm handshakes brother

If you’re unsure, then you can always pop a 45 insole in a 46 shoe if they turn out too big

Personally they run big for me so sizing down is a good idea. If you have the chance to go try a pair on that’s your safest bet. Otherwise, see if where you’re buying from allows returns so if they’re too big / or small, you can send them back.

Dude I’ve been struggling so hard with the sizing of Ricco and shoes with the exception of converse Rick Owens they all fit me perfectly in my usual size 13 but once I go to main line or dark shadow none of the size 46s or US 13 in other words have fit me they are slightly smaller especially on my right foot which is problematic as I think it’s slightly bigger than my left, with that being said Geo baskets you said they run big if I get a 46 and those will it be OK or should I even size down to 45.5? Please help lol
Which converses are you talking about ? The TurboWPNs or the others ?
I think if none of the mainline or drkshdw you’ve tried on already have fit you in 46 you’re probably better to size up half a size cause one foot is bigger. I’m the same my right is larger than my left it makes things VERY difficult.
@@Jacargon yes it does and yea the turbowpns fit me perfect in size us 13, but any time I’ve tried mainline or dark shadow in 46 aka us 13 my problematic right foot is too big , so the geobaskets are my last hope , They’re on sale right now on SSENSE but they are out of 46s but they have a 45.5 so I was debating trying that size since you said they fit big but it seems you’re saying I should def stick to the 46 ?
If you’re willing to chance it go the 45.5. You can definitely sell them on if they don’t fit as larger sizes are definitely sought after afaik.
For reference I have the TurboWPNs in 10 / 43 and my geos are 9 / 42 and they fit me just fine. Up to you! With that info I think you’d be okay

Looking to pick up a pair of ramones and am having huge trouble with sizing, I'm an AU9 (near enough to27cm)but have shoes in eu41, 42.5 and 43 what is your foot measurement in CM?? Also ever tried the taller laceless version for size?
Heyo I’m like a 27/27.5 and similarly have shoes in all sizes. However for ramones I had a 43 pair and they were HUGE on me and now have a 41 pair and they fit just fine.
42 is probably the best middle ground if you’re unsure.
I have tried the laceless boots in 41 and they fit snug wide ways cause no laces but they’re also mainline which fits more TTS apparently.

Yeah I agree mate it’s ridiculous and we should just have sizing in cm across the board. If you ever find yourself in Melbourne city the shop Marais has Ramones there you can try on.

Couldn’t tell you mate, I don’t have any experience with island dunks. However probably lean towards 42 just in case cause you can put in insoles if they’re too big but if they’re too small there isn’t much you can do

hi i found a steal on drkshdw ramone lows and i wear eur 42 in dunks but the size of the ramones are 40.5. the dude said they "fit 41-42" is this true ? wearing 42 dunks give me a comfortable amount of space (over a centimeter). should i buy it ? my thought process is if it doesnt fit i could at least resell it for a huge profit

Mainline apparently fits large. However I had an issue where my wide foot didn’t fit properly in my size. 44 should be okay but be sure that you’re able to return just in case.

It might be slightly too big if you get a 40. But you can also put insoles in the shoes to make them fit better. It’s always better to go a little larger if you’re not completely sure.

I would say 44 would be okay, I also have wide feet. But if you’re not sure about taking a chance hold out for a size 45 !

The collabs usually aren’t a good comparison. You could try and cop and if they don’t fit just sell them on. Depends if you wanna go through the process of reposting etc

I wear 41 with a similarly long foot. But mine is very wide so I usually wear 9.5-10 in nikes. Drkshdw ramones for me can be wide with lacing them loosely so 41 is perfect for me.
As I say to everyone though see if there’s a shop or a person nearby in the community who can maybe let you try on the shoes just to make sure. Or if you’re buying new that they allow returns if they don’t fit
