- Who would've thought that a comic-based ranger team that I never wanted figures from would wind up being one of the best Power Rangers Lightning Collection releases?! If you don't believe me, take a look at my review and let's see if I can change your mind. #collectresponsibly
I like these suit designs a lot more after finding out that their helmet triangles match the alchemical symbols of their elements. And they were already probably my favorites of the comics-only suits before that! (Only other comics exclusive suit I've liked much at all is the Ranger Slayer.)
Having colors, weapons, and symbols that all fit with their elements definitely makes them feel more like an actual consistently themed ranger team, rather than just a bunch of fanfictiony-seeming "generic cool suit designs" without much thought put into why they look the way they do.
Very good insights on these figures. I didn’t care much for their designs on the pages of the boom studio comics, but they translate very well into action figure.
I want the new Drakkon Rangers. Their designs are probably the best reinvention of the Mighty Morphin suits.
I'll be honest, I'd much rather we get all of the on screen teams before we start going deep into the comics. There are so many teams, villains and power-ups that would make for great figures that we need to get to first.
But those dark ranger designs are pretty imaginative. They would make great figures if done right. Thanks for watching!

Is it canon?
It depends on who you speak to. I don't consider much from the comics canon. Whatever appeared in the main TV shows across the 30 seasons is what I consider canon. But don't let that stop you from enjoying these figures or the stories in the comics!
