Hello, friends!Light Pink Snowberry - berries that grow until late winter. They are so different. I drew one picture in 2022 and the second one today. I love these berries. want to paint more white ones...
Had to google snowberries & find a reference, have never seen them in real life. I guess we call them white cranberries (?) but snowberries is so much more elegant. Beautiful work as always ❤.
Thank you, my friend. It is also called Symphoricárpos. This is its botanical name) I myself did not know that it can be so diverse and beautiful. In our country (Ukraine) it is mainly white.
@ indeed, these are a beautiful subject! The white berries are beautiful as well & primarily what Google will return for a simple “snowberry” search. So I added “pink to the search 😂 such a simple thing but revealed so many varieties. I found a reference pic that has the yellow undertones. I love the Indian yellow from schminke & this piece will give me a chance to use it in a way that really allows it to glow.
@@Lolaaquarella I decided to give this a try tonight. I love to paint berries, but I have an issue with round ones! I push the edges beyond my sketch…something subconscious maybe…but circular berries get me every time 😂! Despite my weird habit the snowberries are turning out quite pretty thanks to this tutorial. The colors work together beautifully!
Thanks a lot for a new video
Another exquisite painting. I like how you brought the pink into the leaves--really creates harmony. Thank you.
Thank you, my friend. I studied botanical watercolor quite a long time ago and sometimes I use techniques and methods from there
So pretty 💕💕💕💕
Mistletoe is nice. That’s lovely btw.
Thank you, I remember about mistletoe)
