September Student Spotlight:Aashritha Sama

A 3 year veteran of TaliaTeach, Aashritha has been singing since the age of 6. She also plays piano and used to play both violin and clarinet. Her hobbies include painting as well as taekwondo, a medium in which she has a black belt. So don't approach her in a dark alley, as Miss Talia likes to joke! She absolutely loves musical theater, as you can see from her fun song choice!Aashritha hopes to study physics and engineering and wants to be an aerospace engineer. (So you know when people say, "it's not rocket science!" Well.... in this case...)🎶 Note from Miss Talia-Aashritha is an extremely hard worker and listens carefully to feedback. She went from being really hesitant in head voice and very hesitant onstage to building up her range extensively (on both ends) and beautifully participating in all of our shows. She has a lovely tone to her voice. She also has a very authentic delivery, which is rare in musical theater. Aashritha is a student I'm incredibly proud of on so many levels. She took things that were hard for her, faced them head-on without complaint, and was successful in conquering them. She's a fantastic example for all. Enjoy!
