Why doesn't government lift tax exemption from political donation, because its part of their business too.
Every rule is made by politicians and they will not do anything which is against their politics and income.

I think all should be aware that even in us uk they are supporting their army as well as giving benefits to their citizens in the form of free education and healthcare (in uk). Each life there has some value. May be for the same reason ppl who get opportunity give back Indian citizenship and take citizenship of other countries. Government is developing best engineers and management graduates through IIT and iim, and the graduates are being lured by opportunities outside India. I think it’s high time now Indian government needs to realise this and take quick steps. Otherwise we will miss the opportunity being fastest growing economy.

a plunder. If you handed some coins to the street beggars or give your
clothes or blankets to the needy or you just fed someone, this would
be greatest charitable work in your life. Eleemosynary activities are the

Our Gvt wants that no one will be able to earn more than 5 lakhs per yr. such that there will be no competition for Adani. Ofcourse most the Gvt jobs are vanished thanks to Gvt favor to Adani and now all these Job going, thele walas, small shop owners end up paying hefty taxes which is collected then forwarded to Adani's account. Conclusion was that agencies are not free enough to do something like this they do what government orders them but looking at this today
I must appreciate work of current agencies
I think If someone is in system like filling itr then AI will work on their data and past history .
But majorly people making this kind of activities are not in system at all and still they will not be captured.
Insort people who r filling ITRs will suffer and still actual defaulter will escape .

My question is - does the charitable trust or other institution taking donations donot have to keep a proof & match of the donation received & funds available with them ? I mean to say if they issue receipt for the donation received , say for rs.50000 , & then return back 40000 to the donor , how they will justify the debit / credit with actual funds available ? On papers , i suppose they cannot justify the charity made to the same person who is giving them donation. Then how they are justifying ?

many CA's and other professionals are doing the same from so many years where they pay money under donation through third party , they deduct some commission and return back the same . Despite Ithat am surpirsed the income tax officials are not able to unearthed till date .

agar maine 5 saal tak apni 10-20 Rs./week ki savings gullak main daali aur after 5yrs gullak phodne pe 3280 Rs nikle... to ye income / FY change ke hisab se ek capital gain maana jayega.. aur iska tax nahi bharne pe penality lagegi ... jisme aapki zameen zaydaad ki kurki ho sakti hai... agar IT dept ka phir bhi man nahi bhara to matter jail jana pad sakta hai... TaUmr legal case chal sakta hai.. shak sabut main badlne ki sthiti main international court jaana pad sakta hai.. and worst is ki aapko saza e maut di ja sakti hai..

Political donations me baat nahi kar raha hai sarkar. BTW why should we give tax at all ? What benefits are we getting back ? Income tax, then gst, road, municipality, and what not. If we calculate it will come to 40 and above for a person in tax bracket of 30 %.
