As a kid growing up watching the Wild Wild West I learned about being a gentleman, doing well by others and gave me a sense of adventure and inquisitiveness. Great show.
Robert Conrad. Always loved watching the series back then. I enjoyed watching Robert in action and the musical theme of the show. Really my favorite show!
As a child, I first saw Ross Martin as an actor in the film "Conquest of Space" long time ago back in the 50's... admired him then and always will. CJ
Wild Wild West was one of the best shows in TV history. Robert Conrad was brilliant in the role of James West, the Old West's answer to James Bond. Ross Martin was his equally masterful partner, Artemis Gordon. The show had historically accurate plots, plenty of action, and high production values. That is why the show is still a pleasure to watch after more than 50 years. Classic!
We're happy to know that you love The Wild Wild West! Thank you for sharing your message. What is your favorite episode?
I couldn't have said it better! Bob and Ross were compliments of each other ! That is why the show was so great!
Favorite episodes anyone with Micheal Dunn the one with Sammy Davis jr playing a government undercover agent and John denher as the metal man
I always enjoyed Ross Martin's performances. Rest in peace, one and all.
Glad to know that you're a fan of Ross Martin. May those who passed away find peace 💗
My favorite role of his was Garland Humphrey Lynch in the film "Experiment in Terror" for which he received a Golden Globe nomination in 1963.
You failed to mention that Robert Conrad starred in the miniseries Centennial as Pasquinal. His French accent wasn't the greatest but he was believable as a trapper. One of his 'wives' in the miniseries was played by Sally Kellerman who towered over him.
Richard Kiel also portrayed the villain "Jaws" in the James Bond film "Moonraker". He was also a born again Christian before he passed away. I know, because I met him at a Christian convention.
Glad to know that you met Richard! How was he personally? Thanks for sharing this ❤
@@FactsVerse He was very cordial. Nicest person anyone could meet. I wish I had taken a picture with him but I was more glad that he went to the convention and I at least got to say hello. 🙂
I watched The Wild Wild West on weeknights in the early 70 s. Both Robert Conrad and Ross Martin were great. I wrote to the studio and requested an autographed picture of them. That was over 50 years ago. Still have it. I knew about his declining health for years. I was saddened by his passing. Always one of my favorite shows.
We're happy to know that you love The Wild Wild West and you even have an autograph. Thank you for sharing your life story 💗
Loved Ross Martin the most! so smart and skilled and just plain amazing. A polyglot and a violinist who studied law before he became an actor. He left us way too soon.
Ok review. BUT, you have Douglas Henderson information, yet do not show him in the pics. You show Harvey Korman and others instead.
I have always loved Robert Conrad! When I was a little girl I loved Nick Adams! I watched Johnny Yuma. Yes, I’m old! LOL Never knew though about Robert meeting Nick and that he was instrumental in Robert becoming an actor. Thank you for this interesting video about all the stars of the Wild Wild West show!!
Thanks for watching! We're so glad you enjoyed this video. What other types of videos would you like to see?
Robert Conrad was so handsome! Great update! Sad they are no longer with us. 🙏❤️🕊️
Thanks for watching! We're so glad you enjoyed this video. May those who died find peace 😢
Michael Dunn's characters name was Loveless
Always loved Robert Conrad. Brilliant actor and so handsome 😍
loved ross martin especially after i found out how much of the disguises and such for the hsow he created himself with help from the people that would do make up and such. according to one version he'd do the designs and then they'd write a character for that. james west actor i liked to but u neglected his short and probably last run as jesse hawkes on show fo same name and the high mountain rangers. two shows that involved his kids and i think were way underrated. i believe that was his last regular gig as an actor. everything after that was as guest.
Wild Wild West was the ULTIMATE Steam Punk before Steam Punk was a thing. And Dr Lovelace's costumes were elaborate & well made. Then, that tricked out caboose was the batmobile of it's time. I used to wish I had 1 !!!
Well said, we agree! Thank you for watching our content and for sharing your sentiments. Which episode appealed to you the most?
Wild West was a great unique tv western. Robert Conrad and the whole cast was simply amazing and entertaining. Nothing Love for all them.
Well said, we agree! Thank you for watching our content and for sharing your thoughts. Be on the lookout for our next video!
The Wild Wild West.. Every thing about the show from its name title, Villains, characters, pre modern machine contraptions, musical interludes, and the diabolical madness was intriguing!! Predating Batman!!!! ACTION TRAIN TIME. thank you FV
Thanks for watching and for sharing your thoughts! We're so glad you enjoyed this video. What is your favorite episode of the Wild Wild West?
Fabulous show. I have every episode. Mr Conrad died of old age. Well, that happens to people who don't die young, you know? Ross Martin's heart problems were sad, certainly, and comparatively early death a loss to acting. Michael Dunne was certainly tragic, due to his dwarfism. It's weird that this show was cancelled, not because of poor ratings -- people loved it -- but due to moralists complaining about the violence in it. Come on, it was cartoon non graphic violence, with a great group of stunt people who were very good friends off camera. They made a couple of movies about a decade later, but it wasn't the same.

Our family never missed Wild Wild West. Robert Conrad made a personal appearance at an amusement park in 1968 and our family went to see him. He was dressed in character in a nice blue 1880’s suit he wore on his show. I was about 10 years old then.
What about Victor Buono who appeared in several episodes of the wild wild west series?
Count Minzeppi was in 2 episodes of the 2nd season & of course the 1st season episode...a dual role
No surprise there are no survivors, we can do math. The show ran from 57 to 53 years ago, and most of the actors were int their late thirties to early-to-late forties when it started. It would be quite a surprise if any of them lived till today, they would all be between 95 and 105 years old. Not everyone lives as long as Betty White.
I was a Robert conrad fan , but I was also a fan of Ross Martin the two were great together.
Richard Kiel also played two monsters in the television series THE NIGHT STALKER: KARL KOLCHAK as the swamp monster Peremalfait and the Diablero too.
Robert Conrad was so cool as James West...The Wild Wild West is 1 of my all time fave tv shows
I knew Robert Conrad as a girl, as Pappy Boynton on "Baa Baa Black Sheep".
Ross martin was my favourite character! Wonderful man!!!!
We agree! Thank you for watching our content. Be on the lookout for our next video!
If I remember, Ross Martin also stared in the tv series Mister Lucky during late 50s early 60s.
While my personal favorite 'villain' (because they never see themselves as that, but rather completely justified in their actions...) was Dr Loveless... You forgot to mention the great Victor Buono (b 1938, d 1982) who played the recurring role of Count Manzeppi

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”
I just finished the series today! I really wish I could've told the actors how much I enjoyed what they did.
How was it? Thank you for your beautiful message for the cast. May they find peace ❣
I don't know much about this show, but my brother really enjoyed it and spoke a lot about certain episodes. May all cast members, now deceased, rest in peace.
*Michael Dunn played a character named "Dr. Miguelito Loveless" not LoveLASS.*
I Think that Douglas Henderson looks a lot like Harvey Korman who was on the Carol Burnett Show
Sad to think all the great actors of this series are no longer with us, but at least they will be remembered through their performances. May they all RIP.
Ross Martin was my very 1st actor when I was a kid growing up. Very inspiring on me. A major inspiration.🙂🙂🙂🙂
One of my favorite shows back in the days.
Great show. I loved every episode and every character. How can I see it now? Is it on any of the stations?
We're happy to know that you love Wild Wild West! What is your favorite episode?
@@FactsVerse Anyone with Dr. Loveless. I would love when he got mad. I realyy don't remember episode #'s.
great show - it was must viewing as a teen. recently bought the set on dvd. love how all of the episodes are titled 'night of the 'whatever' . kinda like the series rawhide were all the earliy episodes were 'incident at something or other' and also wagon train were the 'this or that story'. no great shows like it these days. so much unwatchable garbage on now with wooden posers instead of actors. had no idea michel dunn died at 38. sad. loved ship of fools
I'm always irritated when those doing these presentations haven't watched the shows being reviewed. No fan would ever say, "Dr. Lovelass." He was unambiguously Doctor Loveless. Even a little research should have prevented this error if the speaker or anyone involved in this presentation didn't watch the series to know better.
I love this - Conrad also did the short lived High Sierra , which I also liked- Artie was always my favorite - and I loved them both in there Colombo episodes
Ross Martin was one of my favs. he was so funny. Michael Dunn and Victor Buono where great in their spots. Of course Robert Conrad.
We agree! Thank you for watching our content. Be on the lookout for our next video!
I must say my favorite actor on the Wild Wild West, was Rod Martin, he was one of my favorite actors. If you never seen him on columbo he plays a murderous character he's really good in it.
Of course to this day my favorite character is James West!!!! Also the person giving this review forgot to mention that Voltaire also played in 2 count them 2 James Bond movies!! Wow! How could you ever forget Jaws!!!! ❤
Excellent presentation!
Thanks for watching! We're so glad you enjoyed this video. What other types of videos would you like to see?
Robert Conrad, Ross Martin. Richard Kiel, Michael Dunn and Victor Bueno (Count Manzeppi) as villains.
RIP Jean Hale, Leslie Parrish, Michele Carey, Suzanne Pleshette.
Wow.
All gone.
😟
Ross Martin's - Blake Edwards " MR, Lucky " 59-60 Tv
Ross also terrorized actress Lee Remick in the 1960s movie Experiment in Terror. Loved Ross's versatility.
Todd Martin appeared on an episode of Sanford and son. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
We vividly remember that movie too! Brings back memories. What other types of videos would you like to see?
Steampunk before anyone knew what it was! Robert Conrad was super hot loved his outfits!!!!
I loved them all, but Dr. Lovelace was my favorite. I would love to see the re-runs but have yet to find them on streaming. Do any of you know how to view the episodes?
Michael Dunn all day long but Robert Conrad, always liked is boots and belt and I never could get enough of the train
To the narrator: It’s pronounced how it is spelled, Doctor Loveless, not love-lass. Have you even watched this show?
Silly me! Here I thought it would be about "Cast Members" and guest stars! And talk about a Bad Title! Of course most every "cast" member of a 1960's TV show that wasn't kids in the 60's is probably dead.
If you're going to talk about "Cast" members, how about those that were cast as fellow agents to James West. Ross Martin suffered a heart attack on August 17, 1968 (this was exactly two years after the show's creator, Michael Garrison, died). Martin's character was replaced temporarily by other agents played by Charles Aidman (four episodes as Jeremy Pike), Alan Hale, Jr. (as Ned Brown) and William Schallert (two episodes as Frank Harper), and West worked solo in two other episodes. Aidman said the producers had promised to rewrite the scripts for his new character, but this simply amounted to scratching out the name "Artemus Gordon" and penciling in "Jeremy Pike" (his character's name). Pat Paulsen (one episode as Agent Bosley Cranston) is frequently thought of as a Martin substitute, but he, in fact, appeared in one of Aidman's episodes and his character would have been present even if Martin had appeared. Martin returned to work in mid-December and appeared in the final three episodes to be filmed.
Dr Loveless ....one of the BEST characters EVER written or acted
I've been a fan of Ross Martin for a very long time. But I have been a fan of Robert Conrad's beautiful buns since The Wild,Wild West.
Michael Dunne passed away the exact same day I was born! That's really sad to think about.
Ross Martin also stared in the series "Mr. Lucky.
I like Victor Burno, you was the Egyptian villian in the Batman TV show and in the Wild Wild West,he played a magician, who was after gold, and he played this character twice, with Richard Pryer.
And Tom Post, was in it too.
Ross Martin took on his roles an became them. Artemis Gordon was great! An in the the Twilight Zone, his role as the Venusian cook laughing at the Martian was Classic. RIP Ross Martin 🙏
Loved this show ...everyone
did a great job...watched
this with my Dad when
I was a kid in 1960s.
Wished I could have
met Conrad & Martin
in person to tell them
how much this show
meant to me. Loveless
was one of the best
TV villains of all time.
Also liked how some
of the episodes had
a down-right spooky
Gothic vibe to them.
Never will have such
a unique TV show
with such imagination
like this again !
We're happy to know that you love the Wild Wild West! Who is your favorite cast member?
@@FactsVerse When I was a kid wanted to
be as cool & confident
under pressure as
James West so I would
say he was my favorite
character. However when
Ross Martin missed
shows because of his
heart attack it was
evident he was just
as important to the
show. None of the
replacements who
helped West during
Gordon's absence
could replace the
West/Gordon chemistry.
They were both needed.
I would say Michael
Dunn's Dr. Loveless
character was an
epic TV villain &
perfect arch foe
for West & Gordon.
My favorite Wild Wild
West episode is "The
Night of the Skulls".
When I was a kid loved
the spooky Skull masks
the bad guys wore &
the Kangeroo Court scene
where West tried to
defend himself. Also
in the beginning of
episode when Gordon
disguised himself as
the Reverend to give
his own over-indulgent
eulogy with West
crashing the funeral
was classic !
Conrad falk was in bad car accident and left him in bad shape. You never mentioned that.
I liked all of the actors.
Glad to know that you love the cast but which one stood out the most to you?
That wasn't Douglas Henderson. That was Richard Lanphier and Harvey Korman.
My favorite show as s kid & still the best. RIP
Happy to know that you love the Wild Wild West. Who among the cast members appealed to you the most?
Robert Conrad was of POLISH descent ,not German. That was well publicized. Get your facts straight next time.
The family name was originally Falkowsky, but it was shortened to Falk. Robert Conrad's birth name was Conrad Robert Falk.
Boris karlof was my favorite
I always loved Robert and Ross
Glad to know that you love Robert and Ross! How about your favorite episode?
Jim & Artie then Dr Loveless & Voltaire.
Artie. He was so cool.
Douglas Henderson was a wasted coverage. What about Antoinette, Phoebe Dorin?
That is nor Douglas Henderson. I don't know who that is, but it is not douglas Henderson.
Differently Robert Conrad loved him in line pappy Boyington
Its Loveless!
Sad
We all gotta go! We die at different ages, but we all have a time limit on earth.
❤️
The one fight Conrad couldn't win was with booze. After his car accident, he was physically a mess, which may have shortened what could have been a longer and better life in later years.
Its LoveLESS
No offense but what is it with these videos about people dying? I mean, this is sad.
Will Smith's wild wild west was a POS and will never be as good as thr original.
Command do not accept my donation it has been withdrawn, the thanks feature does not say anything about making a donation, furthermore, before you blink your eyes the donation goes up to 50 dollars before one can click out. And if you attempt to take my money, it will be reported as a red flag 🚩to youtube
Well, they got old or sick. They all died for a reason. Everyone does. I wouldn't call that anything but inevitable. Doesn't affect me and never will. I don't believe that I ever saw an episode of The Wild Wild West, so I don't care.
