Hawthorn controlled 2/3 of the game. Bad last quarter though, 19-2 Inside 50s. Have to improve that end of the game. Well played Hawks. P.S McEvoy is a good experiment but playing against a key foward. The chance of him getting the mark or spoil is a 1/3 chance. He’s a ruck man, not a defender. Only better when he intercepts marks in defence

211errol More like 6 goals with 15 minutes to go. But that’s getting technical. The point being a team can lose a margin very easily with momentum swings. You even heard the commentators saying Richmond wasn’t going to throw the towel in. But then again they must have doubled their efforts to avoid having a low score again and giving Hawks a much needed percentage boost

I think all the free kicks either team got were genuinely there. Richmond even got more free kicks but I think the umpiring was even.

Honestly this is a year where any team can beat anyone on any given day. Hawks played well. Richmond missed Dusty. There poor starts are costing them.

I agree,i used to have a soft spot for tigers when they were perennial cellar dwellers but once i saw how the afl virtually gave them 2 premierships and how arrogant and condescending their fans are towards other club fans i dont rate them at all and thank god it was only a short 3 year period and ascend back to the bottom of the ladder where theyre supposed to be
