The Lure acts as a drop-off but it still disappears once it's attracted the set number of animals, so you need to prepare a proper drop-off point nearby anyway.

Problem is every human unit has multiple armory upgrades and multiple tier upgrades. Myth units get usually something between zero and one upgrade. So then it's rather difficult to balance power of myth units at the beginning of the game when they go against unupgraded military units, and then the same myth units in the late game go against fully upgraded military units. So myth units either have to first dominate and then suck, or suck all the time. Or they have to get some general myth unit upgrades. Few of the mythic age myth units don't suffer this, like the Colossus. But still.
My critique: going Horus instead of Osiris as Ra is a noob move when facing rushers. Avengers can't deal the same amount of damage and seize the momentum for the player as the Mummies do when paired with infantry human units. Mummies OP, change my mind or become a minion.

Wish they didn't nerf petsuchos. Also as Ra and Set I preferred going Sekmet for the bone bow upgrade. Chariot archers with 24 ramge is pretty insane since they will outrange every other archer and defensive building in the game
Oh man, Ra's rain + priest econ boost + ptah's cheaper farm and SS TC+ hathor's locust to remove your opponents farms into horus for avengers (they cost food so very spammable). With the rain being mutli-castable this is even stronger you'd almost forgive yourself for not going sekmet fast heroic. Ra losing to Poseidon is only because he was goldstarved for so long. Had no priests, no cammels, only a bunch of chariot archers. Gold is the lifeblood of egy, kind of a lame way to go, but then again he wasn't looking very strong with the houses placement alone.
Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if the avenger beats the colosssus 1 v 1 -- its specifically meant as an anti-unit unit, whereas the colossus is a tanky meat shield that is decent against both units and buildings, but not as effective against buildings as a scarab (if I'm right) which is just a building killer. Also yeah Horus was an iffy choice. Eggy needs either Osiris or Thoth to deal with the greek mythic age, either Colossi or Medusae. Osiris is the classic choice, the SOO and mummies make short work of Colossi. Not saying its an uneven contest, but Zeus is better equipped to deal with Osiris than the other two, because of Bellerophon being utterly bonkers and Myrmidon. Not to mention lightning storm is legit broken right now.
@@Yodesla I saw all Poseidon replays on UA-cam, all chose Aphrodite rather than Dionysus. Thracian Horses get huge nerf and full-tech Greak horses are strong no more。😞
@@Yodesla people in chat always say... mummies would have been the better damage controll unit especially vs ... but no one literally has done it ... and i think its the kinda only mythic unit we didnt manage to have a great showcase of :( and shouldnt be mommies öhm mummies be bigger in wonder Age too ... how about their minions ... are they bigger then ordinary soldiers then towering over the battlefield ... how big gets a wonder aged scylla? im brabbeling again :

yea i fugured that out shorty after lol. All these casts are from the same couple days. So there wasnt much time between them to learn at time haha

I think in the original game, the pestuchus (or how the crocodiles are called) actually deal bonus damage to myth units too.

couple myth units seem to need some buffs, and villager res a nerf.
